Vehicle Detail

This is a 1980 Chevy El Camino. Body is in pretty good condition, not a bunch of rust to deal with. Bed is in good condition. All window glass is intact, with no broken or cracked glass. It has a spare tire and jack which are stored behind the passenger's seat, with a safety belt type hold down. It has disc brakes on the front with drum type on the rear. It has a 10 bolt rear end, I have no idea if it is limited slip. 2 speed windshield wipers. It has a set of Camaro mag wheels which are 15", with 205x65x15 radial tires in fair shape. All side marker lights and tail light lenses are good with no cracks or breaks in them. All the chrome is in pretty good shape but the chrome around the back of the bed does have some dents or dings. The chrome around the bed and windows is all intact with no missing pieces. For a vehicle that is almost 33 years old it is complete and needs a good cleaning, but is restorable. The interior has one burn hole in the lower seat back on the passenger's side. No rips or tears. The dash pad does need replacing as it is pretty well cracked. The seat backs are not broken down and laying back like so many others I have seen this age. I have several interior pieces that I have picked up for it that will go with the vehicle. The carpet is in pretty good condition with no holes in it, and the rubber pad under the pedal's in in good shape also. The chrome on the wheel well opening's are in really good condition. It has P/B, P/S, Cruise Control, 2 speed wipers w/washer, and an AM/FM/Casset radio. NO AIR CONDITIONING. I purchased it in June of 2007 with the intent of restoring it. I was retired from the Army on 100% disability retirement, and have been trying to get back into shape to work on this car. Three months ago, I found out I now have cancer. There just isn't any way that I'm going to be able to restore this vehicle like I intended to do. When the vehicle was delivered to me it was driven off of the flat bed tow truck truck and parked in front of my partially enclosed car port. I took a couple of picture's of it and then parked it in the carport where it has sat since that time. It hasn't been started in over 4 years and the tank fuel, and fuel lines now have very old and bad gas in them. There is no battery in the car. It does have the original smog pump on it. I bought a 454 to put in it, but never got in a position to install it. The 454 IS NOT INCLUDED with the car. When delivered it was washed and waxed and really stood out and shined. I was surprised when the guy pulled up with it on the flat bed at how well it looked. Under the circumstance's there is no reason for this vehicle to just sit and not be used by someone that would appreciate it. It is not what I would consider in driveable condition right now. So it will be necessary to trailer it to where ever it may go from here. I have additional pictures if you would like I can send them to anyone that is interested. If there are any question's that you may have, please ask me and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for looking at my add.
