Vehicle Detail
62 photos here http://s1088.photobucket.com/albums/i331/stlbigjons/ This is my 2004 Ford F250 Crew Cab Superduty. It has the 6.0 Powerstroke Diesel engine with five speed automatic transmission and shift on the fly four wheel drive system. This truck is a crew cab with the Lariat Ultimate Package. It has leather seating with a 40/20/40 split front seat. The center seat back can be folded down to use as an armrest/console or folded up to make this a six passenger cab. Rear seat is a 60/40 split with a fold down armrest in the middle. Rear seat bottoms fold up and there is an extendable flat metal load floor underneath. This truck is loaded and is as close to a King Ranch as you get without it being a King Ranch. It even has 18" King Ranch Wheels from a 2006 Model truck. These wheels look great and match the two tone on this truck perfectly. The larger diameter makes the truck ride better and improves fuel economy. The only down side on these wheels is if you turn the steering all of the way one side or the other, the rear inside corner of the tire will rub a little on the leaf spring. It rubs just a little, but I would never trade these wheels and tires back for the original ones. Truck has power windows, power door locks, power driver and passenger front bucket seats, heated front seats, adjustable lumbar support, power adjustable pedals, power moonroof, power heated tow mirrors, tilt steering, intermittent wipers, tow haul mode switch, shift on the fly four wheel drive, am/fm/cd stereo system, overhead trip computer, wood grain accent door panels, as well as an aftermarket electric brake controller. Overhead computer shows compass heading, external temperature, miles to empty, and average miles per gallon. Tow mirrors are manual fold and manual telescoping. Interior is in overall great condition. Driver's seat is a little tired of course, but otherwise the leather upholstery is excellent. Carpet is also in great shape including original OEM carpet floor mats. I always kept inexpensive rubber floor mats covering the entire floor. I have both remote key fobs and two keys as well as the owners manual. All of the glass is in good conditon with no cracks. On the exterior, you can see the paint shines like a diamond. It of course has its share of chips and scratches, but I've always kept it up as well as I could. The worst spot is a scratch just above the wheel well opening on the driver's side rear. I have included a picture of this area. Truck has original Ford truck bed liner. Truck has always been garaged and does fit in my standard 9x7 garage door. You would never guess this truck has over 246,000 miles on. Engine has always been strictly maintained. A couple of months ago, just as the weather started to cool off here in Missouri, the truck was running rough on a cold start. I had it into the dealer and ended up replacing two glow plugs and three injectors. Runs and starts great. Engine has a block heater, but its not necessary, it starts great at any temperature. On a recent trip to Washington DC, my water pump went out in Indiana. Had waterpump replaced along with the thermostat. I have receipts for the work performed. Transmission pulls strong and shifts as it should. Tires are 275/70/18 Firestone Transforce HT. I put these on new earlier this year. They have about 12,000 miles on them and are in excellent condition with probably 70% tread on the rear and 80% on the front. I love these tires, they ride great, give good traction, and are very quiet on the highway. Brakes and rotors on all four corners were replaced at the same time as the tires. Truck has never had a gooseneck or fifth wheel hitch to my knowledge, but does have the receiver hitch, 4 wire light connector and 7 wire RV connector. I have tried to describe the truck in detail, but please feel free to ask any and all questions. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, but I encourage you to come see the truck in person This truck is being sold as is with no warranty. Truck is road ready and can be driven anywhere. Truck is being sold with no reserve, but is for sale locally as well so bid to win. I will require a $500 deposit within 24 hour of auction close, and payment in full withing 7 days of auction close.
