Vehicle Detail
Low mileage, strong Jaguar XJS. Currently 82844 original miles. this is a solid car that I drive regularly, but it has endured some bumps and bruises. There is some body damage (see photos) and interior wear and tear. This beautiful car is an ideal candidate for restoration or to part-out for the low-mileage engine, transmission and suspension. Plus, as you can see from the picture, no major rust issues. the body and frame are straight. It does have other issues that need to be sorted out -- AC needs charging, heat doesn't get hot enough, and the fan doesn't blow hard. CD and radio work just fine. All guages work. Serpentine belt was replaced earlier this year. This car is a driver. I use it all the time, but I have purchased a new car and it is time for this beauty to be in the hands of someone who can make use of it. It is being sold "As Is," but feel free to come and inspect it and take it for a drive. Live too far away? Then have a local friend or agent check it out for you. Please feel free to email me with your questions. Title is clear. On Dec-05-12 at 17:56:44 PST, seller added the following information: Update for December 5. Took the car out for a spin before the cold weather came back. I need to list a few other issues that you may want to know. First, all gauges are not working. The oil gauge has stopped working - may have been out for a while. The convertible top does not work automatically but is easily raised and lowered manually. Also, when you lower the top, you need to put all the windows down. As you can see in the picture, the passenger side rear window doesn't go down all the time - problems with the switch because it went down this time. Finally, the cigarette lighter doesn't work. As I mentioned before, feel free to ask me any questions. It is a Jaguar, and there are issues that need to be sorted out. Thanks.
