Just as the name denotes, it's a Race Ready bike. Lighter than the 600cc of the same model year with the fastest times out of all bikes in it's class for 2008, this bike continues to dominate the 1000cc class. Always garaged, stored or covered, this CBR has been well taken care of. Just replaced rear tire that isn't even broken in yet! Still has less than 100miles on rear. Bike was recently inspected and registered. Bike was checked out by Woods Fun Center Honda in Austin, TX. Front tire is still great with plenty of life. Very minor nicks and slight scratches that can barely be seen. Tank has one minor blemish as shown in pics. Other than that, it is still glossy and scratch free. All fairings and cowls are still glossy. The only modifications made to the CBR are, "RR" handle bar ends replacements, rear fender eliminator with LED turn signals and LED license plate light, semi-flush mounted license plate holder, rear seat replacement cowl (looks nice, but not the greatest) and silver reflective rim tape on both sides of each wheel. As far as maintenance goes, oil change isn't due for another 1000-3000 miles depending on your preference. Bike was never tracked, just street ridden. It has been "opened up" several times, but no abuse. New rear tire as mentioned. Chain recently inspected and serviced. Fluids checked. Front tire inspected and showed to have much life left. All systems checked over. New battery installed. Both battery and rear tire have less than 100miles of wear. This was all done at Woods Fun Center. The only thing negative to disclose about the CBR is that there is a scratch on the right side engine casing. Bike was never laid down. Bike was blown over while covered during high winds. The wind parachuted the cover and blew the bike on it's right side :( Bike was checked out at Alexandria Powers Sports in Alexandria, La. No issues. (see last pic) Fastest, best handling and a blast to ride of all the bikes I have owned. Fun, fun, and more fun. I hate to see it go. Whether it sells now or later, I will be getting another, but this time a sport-touring. I'm looking more towards longer rides to hold more gear, yet with still a sporty feel. Title in hand.
