Vehicle Detail
This car was purchased in Missouri in 1992 by my brother in law. He shipped it to Illinois, had the motor rebuild, balanced, domed pistons installed, etc. I DO NOT have receipts for what was done. He drove it for a few years then was transferred to Florida in 1996 and left the car in my father in laws barn. I pulled it out 2 weeks ago. I had 4 new tires, all new brakes lines, brake wheel cylinders, master cylinder, and manifold back dual exhaust put on. Also had all of the fluids drained and refilled. I have been driving the car to work and back all week. It runs excellent. Fires right up, sounds great and has nice power and pull. Runs VERY smooth. Does not have rattles, clunks, or any of that. Remarkably solid car. Very fun to drive. Transmission shifts as designed. Cruises down the highway at 80 smooth as silk. EVERYTHING works in the car except the original AM radio. The drivers seat needs to be recovered. The drivers and passenger lower quarters have rust as pictured. The roof rail window gaskets are half missing, but can be purchased inexpensively here on ebay: Window gasket on ebay The glove box liner (cardboard) was damaged so I threw it out. This also can be purchased here on ebay: Glove box liner on ebay The trunk and floorboards are 100% solid. The doors are clean and solid. The engine does not burn oil, and does not seem to leak at all. The transmission pan is wet, but the fluid wasn't low when I bought the car, and hasn't leaked any since. Here is a video of the engine starting cold (It was 35 degrees it is not engine smoke): Here is a walk around & engine running video: Really a nice original Cutlass that can be enjoyed as-is or be a light restoration project. VISA/MASTERCARD/DISCOVER accepted. SHIPPING: We ship vehicles nationwide and in Canada on a regular basis. TYPICALLY we can get vehicles shipped for under $0.50 a mile, depending on the cost of diesel fuel and delivery location. Please email (I will respond quickly) or call Ryan @ 734-320-4949 with any questions!: Really a nice original Cutlass that can be enjoyed as-is or be a light restoration project.
