This is a really sweet car! The original licence plate was "Bakti" which means "blessing". And it certainly is. I bought it from the original owner last year who got it from her husband as an anniversary gift and drove it less than 5,000 miles per year. She was a fanatic about caring for the car as it represented something super special to her, and she is a very careful person. I know this as she a neighbor of a family member. This woman was so amazing caring for this car, she did ALL of the maintenance, inspections and repairs at the Lexus dealer in Encino. I have a copy of all the maintenance records to prove this! The car has also been kept in a garage it's entire life. Other than a few tiny dings indicated (detailed below), the vehicle is in pristine condition. The engine is so clean you could eat off it! I had a mechanic check it out when I bought the car, and he could not find one thing wrong with the it. He said it was "an incredible buy". The owner is a sweet lady who truly loved and "over" cared for the car. I have also done the same with such gratitude for having this amazing beautiful piece of machinery. I bought it as a replacement for my car which was totalled (a BMW) last year by someone who hit me. It was a dream come true to find an automobile so pristine and amazing with such low mileage, like new. It's in incredible shape, and drives like a dream. I feel like I am dreaming when I drive it! Smooth as silk. I am TRULY sorry to have to let it go, and it is breaking my heart to do so, but I have to downsize for a number of personal reasons, otherwise I would keep it as I think it will be a collectors item soon. I would like to find a nice person who will appreciate and care for this car as I have. It deserves a good home. Here are the details on the minor dings and items it needs: 1. It needs new tires2. there is a minor scrape to the paint on the back spoiler (see close up image)3. the front spoiler has been damaged by a piece of rebar which tore through (see the close up image of the front spoiler) this has been glued in place and is fine, as it was a minor ding. 4. the right rear pipe has a minor ding (see close up)5. the floor mats are soiled - but they are the original so after so many years...6. the cigarette lighter does not work, but I have used a charger for my phone so the part that sends the charge does work7. may need some new fuses. Am checking on replacing those and will replace this. The rest of the car is completely PRISTINE! You will not find a better car of this kind than this, and they do not make cars like this anymore. So, if you LOVE a luxury vehicle like the Lexus SC 400, this car is for you. ~ :)
