Selling my 1987 black on black 951 with just over 52,000 original miles, purchased from second owner in May 2011 with just over 34,000 original miles. Searched for the black on black for an '87 for almost 2 years with the goal of a modest 350 HP to the wheels. Had Stuttgart Southwest install the MAF and chips which increased boost safely to 15PSI. The car runs really well and the MAF is adjustable which enriches the fuel to air ratio ensuring no over boost. It can be adjusted for strict emission states. Maintenance with receipts: Timing belt done at 36,760 on 27 Sep 11. Set of 4 Goodyear Eagle GT (Front: 225/45R-17, Rear: 255/40R-17) at 41,000 on 22 Feb 12 Clutch replaced at 33,000. Performance: Set of 17" wheels from a 993 (Authentic Cup II wheels, hand-painted crests). MAF (adjustable) system with K&N cone filter. Matched chips (KLR and DME). Lindsey Boost Enhancer. Clean title in hand and reserve is much lower than fair market value. I reserve the right to end the auction early as I am listing it locally as well. This was the 5th I've owned from the (944, S2, 968 Coupe, 968 Cab) family and my first Turbo. This example was hard to find as mentioned by my 2 year search. It's going to be near impossible to replace. I set a "Buy it Now" price do to the fact that I am about $5000's into it above that number with maintenance since it was so low mileage and performance. I will consider all reasonable offers near the "BIN". Yes, from me and PO. Is the car stock or have there been modifications (chip, strut brace, bilsteins, etc.). If so, would you list? MAF, chips, Lindsey Boost Enhancer, Cup II wheels. Has the timing belt/water pump/clutch been replaced? If so, when and what was the mileage? Timing belt in Sep 11 @ 36K miles, water pump ~ no need as it was checked when belts replaced, bearings are fine, clutch was done in '97 at 34K miles. Paint looks black; is that correct? w/black interior? Leather interior? Any dash cracks? Black on black, 2 1" cracks. Original paint? If not, why not (accident/sun damage, etc.). Not certain, no accidents though, clean car fax. AC? blows cold? Ice cold, was converted to 134A. Dings, dents, scratches? A couple small dings (2) and tiny rock chips on nose. Smoker? The car or the owners? Never the owners and the car doesn’t smoke either… Any leaks? None Can you provide detailed pics? Of what? Has the car been garaged? Always Has it been driven regularly even with the low mileage, or is it a garage queen? It was a summer car for PO. Driven daily since arriving at my house. Other than low mileage, your Buy It Now price is $4K above NADA High Retail price and twice Average Retail. What's the justification? I've owned 5 now and have been active in the Porsche community for 10 years. NADA is a guide that has little to do with actual street value for someone interested in these cars (have you done recent price checks on 930's, 968's [or 69 Camaros]) for that matter? Find one like this with these miles for a lower amount, I would love to see it and you should probably buy it.. Closest one out there is the 29K mile example that starts at $19,500. That's less than a 30K difference.
