Up for bid is an early 1940s Chevy pickup. This truck may be 1942, 45, or 46 . I can not locate the vin tag .From the research I have done earlier models had a leather seal around the fuel tank filler and this truck does have that.The fuel tank was removed and patched but will come with the Truck. This truck came from the Southern US. and has been in dry storage since the 70s . The body is in very solid condition with very little rust compared to other vehicles of this age found here in the Northeast . The truck currently does not run but the engine appears complete. The truck rolls but has no brakes. This would be a nice vehicle for restoration or a perfect candidate for a ratrod ,real nice patina. Vermont does not title vehicle older than 15 years . The truck will be sold with a bill of sale only. I am willing to ship and will assist with the loading of this truck, but the buyer will need to make the shipping arrangements.
