THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN KENTUCKY. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEFORE BIDDING. Description: You are bidding on one previously owned 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4. This pickup truck was owned and turned in to us by the Kentucky State Police. This is now considered Kentucky State Government Surplus Property. They have asked us to sell it for them on EBAY. VIN: 1GCEK19VX5Z286172 General: This Silverado is dark Gray in color and has Tan vinyl seats and has Black vinyl floor mat throughout. There are 192,774 miles on this truck. It has the 4.8 Liter Gasoline V8 engine in it. The tires are LT265/70R17. This pickup needs a battery. The battery is dead and will not hold any charge. There is NO spare tire with this truck. There is a tire jack that is under the back seat, you have to fold the seat bottom up towards the rear seat back to get to it. The engine sounds good. There are no drips, misses or rattles. It seems to be smooth running and starts right up when it is jumped. (Needs Battery). The Transmission shifts well and seems to work ok. The 4-Wheel Drive is operational and it works properly in each of the ranges. There is a light on the dash that comes on to let you know that you are in 4WD. The vehicle does not leak any fluids out onto the ground as far as we can tell. The Air conditioner does NOT COOL at all, and the heater works properly. The windows have tinting. The rear doors and back window have a Dark tint on them and the front doors and across the top of the front windshield are of a little bit lighter tint. (Still dark though). The windshield is cracked on the driver’s side and toward the center. DRIVER SIDE: This whole side looks to be pretty straight. There are a lot of scratches in the top coat of paint or the Clear Coat. Some are short and some are longer. FENDER: No dents (that I could see) and 2-3 small scratches in the paint. DRIVER DOOR: 2-3 chips in the paint and 4-5 scratches in the paint. A small ding / dent above the door handle. REAR DOOR: 2-3 chips in the paint and some small scuff marks. SIDE of BED: 4-5 chips in the paint and a few scratches in the paint too. Behind rear wheel, at the bottom of the well opening, the bed-side turns in. It has a few chips in the paint there. The top rail looks like it may have had a tool box mounted to it right behind the cab. It has some chips of paint missing in that area. INSIDE BED: There is a rubber mat on the floor of the bed. There are a few small dents in the bed area and a lot of scratches in the paint. BACK END: TAILGATE: Several scratches in the paint and a few chips in the paint. The black plastic trim around the tail gate handle is missing / gone. Rear Bumper: It seems to be straight. It just has other issues. There is rust forming under the plastic step on the top-covering of the bumper. One of the license plate lamps will not stay in place as the rust has enlarged the hole in which the lamp should reside (SEE PHOTO). There is a receiver hitch on this vehicle but it is rusty around the outside near where the receiver slides in. The Electric supply for the trailer is a Round 7-way receptacle. No Spare Tire up under the rear. It is missing / gone. PASSENGER SIDE: This side also looks pretty straight. There are a lot of scratches in the Clear Coat of the paint, some are short and some are longer. SIDE of BED: Several scratches through the paint. Top of bed rail looks like perhaps there was a tool box on it and it chipped the paint under it. Near the back on the top of rail is approx. a 5” long scratch through the paint. REAR DOOR: There are a couple of chips in the paint. Behind the door, but in front of the bed, the “Silverado” badge / emblem is missing or gone. PASSENGER DOOR: 2-3 scuff marks and 3-4 chips in the paint. FENDER: 2-3 small chips in the paint. WHEELS: All 4 wheels appear to have the clear coat or finish coating coming off. Where it is gone there is some ‘pitting’ going on (SEE PHOTO). I think I took the picture of the ‘worst’ wheel. This truck has the GM 6-Lug bolt pattern. FRONT: HOOD: There is chip in the paint and resulting in a rusty spot on the driver side of the hood above the headlight about 1” x 1-1/2”, There are about 10-12 other chips in the paint on or near the forward leading edge of the hood. There are some light scratches in the paint and some light scuff marks on the hood as well. BUMPER: It looks good and looks straight. The chrome ‘may’ shine back up with some effort. There are 2-tow hooks in the bottom section of the front bumper. GRILL: It looks good. The Chevy emblem or Bowtie has been cracked on one side and it is actually broken on the opposite side where it looks faded. ROOF: It has a lot of scratches and scuff marks. There is a whole in the roof in the center at the rear of the roof. It is where there was an antenna mounted and the whole is what is left after the KSP pulled their Two-Way Radio equipment. The hole has black Electrical Tape over it now. The Back window has two stickers on it. INTERIOR: Has Tilt Steering Wheel, Cruise Control, Power Door Locks, Power Windows and Power Remote outside Mirrors. AM/FM stereo with the display showing the time. 12- Volt Power supply in the dash. The cigarette lighter is missing. There are Dual Temperature controls. The heater works great. The Air Conditioner Does NOT work at all. The seats are Tan vinyl and except for the little bit of wear on the drivers seat, the rest of the seats look really good. They are 40/20/40 seats up front. The 20 part is the console area. The console upper half folds up and down. When it is down, there is a storage area under the lid. On the top of the lid it has a tray in it that can keep small things at reach or keep them from rolling off. When it is folded up, it becomes an extra seat, complete with seat belt. The console in this position is Tan cloth, not the vinyl. The console also has 2-cup holders in the front on the floor hump. The front doors have to be open to open the rear doors. The bottom of the rear seat folds up for extra storage or more room. Rear door windows are manual and are the pop-open style. The floor has black vinyl mat throughout and in the front it could use a better cleaning than we could give it. Be sure to look at the pictures. PLEASE INSPECT ALL PHOTOS CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING.
