Vehicle Description: 1968 Pontiac GTO restored 12-13 years ago. It has 15, 597 miles on it. Body: The body is all original and laser straight. It does not have a scratch. The paint is amazing. There was a custom pin striping added when the car was painted. The paint job alone cost around $8,000. All the chrome is perfect and everything else is perfect or close to perfect. The car has always been garaged, and there is NO rust. The panels line up perfectly, along with the hood, doors, and trunk. Engine: Original numbers matching 400 HO- 4 Barrel. It was completely rebuilt at the time of restoration. It has a cam, polished intake, Edelbrock carb. It starts and runs perfectly. It is loud, mean, and FAST. Perfect, does not burn or leak any oil whatsoever. The engine has been dressed up with a lot of chrome as seen in the pictures. The bay is perfect and fully detailed as well. Transmission: Original numbers matching a factory M21 4-speed. Also, rebuilt at the time of restoration. It operates flawless and awesome. No leaks. Rear End: Original number matching POSSI rear and operates flawlessly. Also, rebuilt at the time of restoration. Perfect 70MPH on freeway, the tac shows 3,000 RPM’s. Interior: The interior was completely restored. It has beautiful custom seats, perfect headliner, door panels, and dash. It has Autometer Phantom Guages. Everything works, all the lights, gauges, etc. There is also a center console, Hurst shifter addition, and an Alpine multidisc player installed below the dash. Trunk: The trunk has been completely detailed and is absolutely perfect. All original. It has been splatter sprayed for life. Spare tire and relocated battery are also in the trunk. The trunk lock works perfectly. Undercarriage: The undercarriage of this car is absolutely perfect. Original floors, brand new Flowmaster exhaust frame is perfect. The entire suspension was also fully restored and this car drives and handles better than most new cars. The A-Arms were also chromed out for show quality finishes. Miscellaneous: Make no mistake about this car, it has been fully restored and everything has been rebuilt. The entire restoration has 15,000 miles on it. The paint shines extremely well. The engine roars, the transmission shifts perfectly. The car has power steering, and power disc brakes. It drives extremely well, just like a new car, but with 110% more attitude.
