1993 Mercedes Benz 300SE 3.2L Inline Six - 228HP/229ft.lb. Torque 139,859 Miles 5 Speed Automatic All Service Records Since 1996! A/C, Leather, Sunroof, Power Seats, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Factory 12 Disc CD Changer, Factory Bose Sound System, Dual Automatic Climate Control, Cruise, ABS Brakes, Loaded! $72,385 Original Retail Pampered, garage kept beauty! This car still turns heads, it has that timeless style that you can only get from a Mercedes Benz. Tuxedo Black paint still looks good, not perfect, but definitly presentable. It has a few dings and scratches that could easily be fixed if wanted (see pics). The bumper covers could be touched up in places (see pics). Overall great condition for a nineteen year old car (becomes a classic next year). The interior is near flawless! Non-smoker, no damage to speak of. The gray leather is soft and in excellent condition, power seats are very nice, cold a/c, love the sunroof, still has the original first aid kit! Very fast and powerful for a car this size, yet I still got 20 MPG average. Automatic transmission shifts like it should, and the ride comfort is the best I've ever experienced. No road noise, engine noise, bumps, etc. Newer nitrogen filled Michelins with a 60,000 mile warranty. This car was a corporate lease in Dallas, TX from 1993-1996. It was then purchased by a Fire Cheif in the Dallas area who owned her from 1996-2004. It was then purchased by his retired brother in Wilmington, NC, who owned her from 2004-2011. I purchased her in the summer of 2011. Except for one. The bad: In October the car had a engine hesitation and I took it to Ken Baker Originals in Wilmington, NC, they diagnosed the problem to be the upper engine harness (ebay Item number: 271097646075, $586 shipped). I then took the car to Bob King Autohaus for a second opinion, and they verified the problem. I then parked the car in my garage until I had time to deal with it. I just found out that I am losing my rented garage and I have nowhere to store this car, so I've decided to sell it and let someone else enjoy this special car. I hate to do it but I don't have the time, skill, or the money to fix it right now. If it wasn't for my storage issue I would never sell this car, I'll never find another one for a reasonable price. I've seen these on car lots for over $7000, it's worth around $5000 in running condition, I'm pricing it to move while leaving a little "meat on the bone" for the buyer. I'm not a mechanic or a liar, I've stated all I know about the car, I didn't get my 100% feedback over the last ten years on ebay by cheating people. This really will be a sweet ride once repaired. That being said, like most used cars, this will be sold as is.
