Vehicle Detail

1967 Ford Mustang - Coupe I've owned this car since January 2001 and now it is time to sell it. I have put on just about 47,000 miles since I bought it and 90% of that was highway miles commuting to my work in PA from NY.3-speed manual shiftAluminum Edelbrock intakeAfter market 8" posi-rear installed in 2005.1 inch sway bar installed in the front and 3/4 sway bar installed in the rear.KYB gas shocks all around. I have new air shocks for the rear, but not currently installed. Will come with the vehicle if sold.Steering column mounted lighted tachometer4-barrel Holley - 650 cf.Accel Supercoil & electronic ignitionHooker HeadersFlowmaster mufflers - Sound awesomeInterior is in good to very good shape. Driver seat has a minor tear in the seat and in the back. Back seat has a tear in the seat portion. Headliner is perfect! No tears, no sagging. Carpet in very good shape as well with Mustang floor mats.Remote control removable face Kenwood Radio/CD player with 4 speakers. Original Mustang radio still in car and works last I checked but not currently hooked up.Brand new BF Goodrich 225 70 14 Raised White Letter tires. Less than 1000 miles on them. I still have receipts from Costco as proof. Cragar Wheels - not in perfect shape, but decent shape. With Gorilla locking wheel set.The hood mounted directional indicators do work. Very cool, especially for 1967.Car recently passed NY State Saftey inspection in July 2012. All the gauges, lights work, horn, wipers, etc. work on the vehicle.Rear seat sheet metal guard installed which separates the trunk from the backseat with a heavy gauge steel. Engine runs great! Starts up easily after pumping the gas a few pumps. Yes it is a Northeast car but it has not seen the winter snow, salt and ice since 2001. I have kept it garaged in the winter and try not drive it in the rain. There is some damage to the driver rear quarter panel + left side of rear bumper (see pictures). Minor fender bender damage essentially. Below is a list of all the work I have done on the car since I bought it. I have a log with all the work which will be yours should you buy this car along with receipts of the parts I have bought over the years. New floor pans throughout. New Hood. New rear quarter panels. New rear tailgate. Painted Midnight Ford Metallic Blue by Maaco in 2003. Brakes - shoes (manual drums throughout), wheel cylinders, master cylinder, front brake hoses and rear brake linesSuspension - inner and outer tie rods, connector sleeves, bushings, upper and lower control arms and ball joints, rear leaf springs and extended heavy duty shackles, shocks, front coil springs, strut rods and bushings.Steering box has been rebuilt by Glazier's Mustang Barn in Souderton, PAFuel pumpOil pan and oil pan gasket + rear main oil sealHeater core, blower box and new hosesNew inner and out front hub bearings + racersRear axle bearings & sealsInstalled new 8 inch posi-rear. Clutch: friction plate, pressure plate, release bearing, pilot bushings, clutch Z-bar & bushingsU-joints on driveshaftCarburetor Holley rebuild + new electric chokerebuilt shifter with new bushings and washersRegularly changed engine oil + filter, brake fluid & have changed once the manual transmission oil + rear gear differential oil (after posi upgrade).Compression on all cylinders are good and consistent so the piston rings are good with no blowby. It does burn oil which I know to be valve guide seals. That's a 2 hour job with someone who has a good compressor and knows what they are doing. Overall it is a solid car, not all original, but mostly original. Needs a little TLC. Everything on the car, mechanical and electrical works. You can feel confident getting in the car and driving several hundred miles is not a problem. On Nov-22-12 at 14:22:35 PST, seller added the following information: I have the original intake manifold (blue), valve covers and oil pan in my basement. I will give them with the car to the winning bidder. Additional miscellaneous parts and goodies will accompany as well. You will not be disappointed.
