THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN KENTUCKY. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEFORE BIDDING. Description: You are bidding on one previously owned 2000 Jeep Cherokee 4x4, two (2) door SUV. This Jeep was owned and turned in to us by the Kentucky Division of Waste Management. This is now considered Kentucky State Government Surplus Property. They have asked us to sell it for them on EBAY. VIN: 1J4FF27SXYL257750 General: This Cherokee is White in color and has GRAY vinyl seats and has Black carpeting throughout. There are 125,679. miles on this Jeep. It has the 4.0 Liter Gasoline In-Line 6 cylinder engine in it. The tires are 215/75R15. There is a full size spare tire inside the cargo area on its carrier against the side. There is a tire jack that is under the back seat, you have to fold the seat bottom up towards the front seats to get to it. The engine sounds good. There are no drips, misses or rattles. It seems to be smooth running and starts right up. The Transmission shifts well and seems to work ok. The 4-Wheel Drive is operational and it works properly in each of the ranges. There is a light on the dash that comes on to let you know that you are in 4WD. The vehicle does not leak any fluids out onto the ground as far as we can tell. The Air conditioner gets cold and the heater works properly. This Jeep was extremely dirty inside and out. We spent several hours cleaning it. It is still very dirty and still could use a very thorough cleaning. DRIVER SIDE: This whole side looks to be in pretty good shape. No dents (that I could see) and no dings or scratches. Only some glue residue where there used to be a KY State decal or emblem. There is a small chip in the paint above the fuel fill door. The gutter line has some paint coming off just above it. There could be some surface rust beginning to start. There is one wheel cover / hub cover missing or gone from the front wheel on the driver side. BACK END: LIFT GATE: It has a lot of paint missing on the top, near the roof. The rear window does open at all, unless you call lifting the hatch opening the window. It does have rear window wiper and washer. The wiper works but I didn’t try the washer. The back window also has two (2) bumper stickers on it. Rear Bumper: There are three (3) bumper stickers on it and it has faded a lot. It seems to be in good condition other than those things. PASSENGER SIDE: This side also looks pretty descent. There could be a couple of small chips in the paint or a couple of scuff marks that I could have missed. But it looks good. There is, however, some paint flaking off above the rear window just under the gutter-line also above and inside the gutters, along the whole side of the Jeep. There is some surface rust in those gutters. There is still some glue residue on the door where they removed the State emblem. FRONT: HOOD: There is a rusty spot on the passenger side of the hood, near the center, at the very front edge. It is a little larger than 1” x 1”. There are some light scratches in the paint and some light scuff marks on the hood as well. BUMPER: Has a bumper sticker on it and it has faded a lot, but it is straight and complete. ROOF: There is a slight and very shallow dent in the front over the front seats. There are about 3 or 4 spots that the paint has started flaking off of the roof. There are luggage racks or roof racks on the roof. They are from the factory. The whole roof needs a good scrubbing. We washed it and scrubbed it, but it good use a lot more time spent on getting that black stuff off of it. Actually the whole Jeep could use it on the outside. It was black; it had so much on it. INTERIOR: There are several stains on both front seats. The whole interior of this Cherokee was covered in mud and other dirt. We cleaned at it for several hours and it still could use several more getting it clean again. You can see this if you look closely at the pictures. The carpet has stains in it on the passenger side in front of the front seat and near the console. There does not appear to be any tears, rips, punctures or holes in the seats or carpet. Carpet is still dirty and needs another good shampooing. The bottom of the rear seat folds up towards the front seats. There you can access the tire jack and there is some storage for small items under there. You can continue by releasing the latch and folding the back of the rear seat forward, that folds down and almost doubles your cargo area or space. There are a few frills here. It has power remote outside mirrors. Manual door locks and manual windows. There is a 12 Volt power supply in the dash and there is a plug over the cigarette lighter outlet. It looks like a factory plastic plug that fits snuggly in the lighter hole. It does not look like it has ever been used. The ashtray is clean in that it also looks like it has never been used as an ashtray. I don’t know that for a fact, it just looks clean enough to have never been used. The heater works just fine. The Air Conditioner works good as well. It is cold. AM / FM / Cassette and the display will display the time. There are four speakers in the Cherokee. They sound good and are not blown. Rear Wiper / Washer and rear window defrost switches in dash. Be sure to look at the pictures. PLEASE INSPECT ALL PHOTOS CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING.
