Vehicle Detail
Hello Are you the owner of my little Herbie. Like in the movies Herbie seemed to have his share of problems and he does have a little one now. Herbie has a blown head gasket. That is totally not why Herbie is up for sale. I bought him earlier this year to do a like new restore job with my boys. A head gasket can be replaced for just a few bucks plus your time. Otherwise Herbie is in pretty good shape. Some of the many lookers that Herbie has had were really amazed at Herbie only having a little cosmetic rust. If I had time to fix the head gasket I am sure that would help Herbie sale, but he needs to go tomorrow as I need the money for something else I want and really need to do with the money I get from Herbie's sell. Please no one ask me to take less then my minimum starting bid price, we both know Herbie is worth much more then that. Also this will be a one to three day sell and only one if I can help it. Herbie is also be for sale locally. I will need to be paid at my Paypal account. You can call me at 912-850-7761 for more info. Also the mileage on Herbie shows to be 25046, I have no idea about that accuracy, nor did the previous owner. Also needs floor mates, tail pipes welded to muffler, maybe front end alignment as the right front tire is not wearing even, but it does run straight down the road. From what I got from the previous owner was that now the engine and transmission has about 10,000 miles on them since replaced new, that was now about 2 1/2 years ago that this work was done. I am afraid I am the fault of the blown head gasket, as I had it wired wrong after a tune-up and tried to make it start. Well I know what to do and not do now. The head gasket replace will be a easy job and should be much in favor of the lucky buyer. If this little thing prevents the sale, then I may have the repair done in about a week and will re-list Herbie at a higher price. This car will not be like a lot of car deals as any work that a new owner will do on this car should increase the value per the current condition and price. Thanks, Rory
