1973 VW Westfalia camper Bus all original interior. This bus was bought, found and saved in downtown Portland,Oregon. As you can see the bus was loved and cared for most of it's life. The interior of this bus was nice enough that we chose to leave it alone for the most part and add seat cover's to the front seat's only. The original tent canvas was tattered so we felt it our obligation to replace it. All of the seal's on the pop top are brand new from Go Westy. Before we acquired the bus most all of the suspension including shocks, tie rods, steering dampner and I'm sure more had been replaced with new parts. The original paint was a little to worn for our liking and because it was within our meanswe opted to sort out the exterior of the bus and repaint the Westfalia in it's factory Orange. The wiring of this bus had also been sorted so that all head light, tail light blinkers etc. are in good working order. The original radio is also in good working order which is kind of rare for these vehicles. All of the exterior light lenses have been replaced with new. The engine of the bus is also in good working order, but we still chose to service the engine and rework the top end. The bus shifts and drives in all gears and is currently ready to go on the road. The interior camper light works as well as the auxiliary interior outlet. I would describe this bus as being absolutely top of the line camping quality. This bus would serve well as a pavement princess used in local parks, venues and camping events.
