Vehicle Detail
This is a 1989 Porsche 944, 5-speed, 130K with the 2.7 liter engine, 162 horsepower. It has blue and white interior, few cracks in the dash, small tears in the seat, normal for these cars. Couple small dents on the body, and paint peeling on lower front bumper, but nothing major. Please ask questions before bidding. Car sat for a long time. Just got back on the road earlier this year. Runs and drives great. Front, rear, and parking brakes all new. Replaced brake wear sensors also. Flushed fluid in entire system with DOT 3 synthetic. $146.56 New clutch Master and Slave cylinder. $100.78 New windshield. $212.38 New battery. $130.04 New speed and reference sensors. $106.89 All belts, hoses and thermostat new. $85.36 Rear hatch lock seal new. $9.44 Shocks for hood and truck all new. $56.37 New shifter bolt. Shifter glides from gear to gear, no slop. $14.34 New leds in the gauge cluster, along with Instrument Cluster White Face Gauges, glow blue with lights turned on. $49.78 New CD player with USB input and 4 pioneer speakers. $149.30 New Odometer gear. $30.35 Plus odds and ends such as rear led bulbs, hood release, spare hold down, pod filter. $47.74 Total Parts : $1139.33 not counting labor Paid for car : $2800 Invested : $3939.33 Factory Alarm w/power locks Power mirrors Removeable sunroof Cruise Control I have hundreds in receipts. Looking for a turbo so time to move on. Get the highly sought after 2.7 liter. It has a high flow head that is often used in 2.5 turbo upgrades. I've owned 3 944's and this one has the pull without upgrading anything. On Nov-15-12 at 16:38:21 PST, seller added the following information: I will submit more photos on Saturday. Things that still need or could use to be replaced: Shifter boot, Can not stretch around base Est cost $30 Glove box stops, Broken Est cost $30 Left door pocket, Missing Est cost $21 Left door carpet trim, Missing Est cost $50 (but that is for both, only need left) Cargo Cover, Will not retract Est cost $75 or best offer Center Console Armrest, Missing hing and lid Est cost $60 Those are all ebay researched for items I would buy for the car. The car is 23 years old so don't expect a show room piece. I bought this as a daily driver and decided to go all out with a turbo so your gain.
