1998.5 Dodge 2500 Quad Cab 4x4 24V Cummins turbo diesel, SLT package with power windows and locks, cruise control, overhead console with trip functions, shift on the fly 4x4, automatic transmission, power driver's seat, 4 full opening doors, has new-style flip out towing mirrors, nerf bars, brush guard with added fog lights, chrome grille inserts, aftermarket fender flares, chrome wheels, nearly Brand New BF Goodrich 10 ply all-terrain tires, and a very nice retractable full tonneau cover. Mechanically, this truck is great. Fires right up as it should. Sounds just like a 24v should, smooth and strong. Has recently had a full set of brand new injectors installed. Gets great fuel mileage, I've been driving it for the last few weeks and seems to be getting right around 19. Pulls strong with anything I've had hooked behind it. Transmission shifts smooth and quiet, does just what it should. Transfer case operates just as it should. Drives down the road great, point it and go. Brakes are good, has trailer brake controller as well. Cold A/C and hot heat. Truck is really an eye-catcher. With the combination of equipment this truck has it looks great. Paint is great, can tell it has been waxed and cared for as it should be. Shines and has deep color as it should, few little normal wear and tear door dings, but very nice and well taken care of for the age. Old dash had a crack like every dodge of this year model, so has brand new hard molded dash piece installed. Looks like a new one did. Radio and dash function correctly. Seats are great, carpet is solid. Arkansas truck so NO RUST underneath, whole underside of the truck is clean. Only takes a look to know this one was never off-roaded or abused. For anybody looking for one of these model trucks, you ought to love this one. Be hard to find one that looks any better or is any nicer than this one for what it is. Been my daily driver lately and I love it. Dodge and Cummins have always been my favorite, and it never hurts to look good either.
