One of the Best Sports Cars of the 70s. They are getting harder to find every day. Especially in this condition. This one only shows 78K (most likely 178K) miles on it. I have owned and stored this car for the last 7 years. The 1974 ½ was only produced for 3 months from 9/74 - 11/74. This car is very original, never molested and it's my sincere hope that it will go to a collector that appreciates and understands the true value of this car. This Late 1974 Datsun is a solid rust free survivor with stock components, matching numbers L26 engine. Late 1974 are the desired Z cars, features strong engines, 4 speed transmission. This car has rebuilt SU Carbs/new floats Very Very straight body with shiny paint . Doors open and close very smooth, so does hatch and hood. Rust free hatch and floor panels. It’s really amazing to see an old car in this condition. Most of cars I see these days are junk. Cars like these are getting harder and harder to find, so this is your chance to get your hands on one. This 260z has a stock inline 6 motor with excellent compression that burns clean. The clutch, 4 speed transmissions operate perfectly. The dash has a full dash cap on it and looks great! Everything in the dash works but the clock, even the map light. All the carpet is new that matches the original (from "Black Dragon"). “This car is really cool and fun to drive”. Seats original and are in great shape, the driver’s seat has a small wear mark where you’re hip wear the seat from getting in and out. This Datsun is mechanically sound and cosmetically beautiful, not a show car but could be with very little work. This is the type of Datsun of people are after, This is my favorite Z car, a clean, honest, rust free stock original. This Z is a joy to drive and will provide years of trouble free service with proper care and maintenance. The only issues with this car is that she is hard to start when it’s cold? and it has a small crack in the lower right hand corner of the windshield. I’m a Chevy guy and I don’t want to mess with these SU type carbs. Instead I give them a shot of starter fluid and it take right off. After it’s warm you can just hit the key and it stars right up and idles. What’s with that?the car has a new fuel pump ,but I well send the orginal one with the car I have a clean clear WA state title in hand; I require a $500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal when auction is finished.
