Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 2001 Mustang GT Bullitt. This is a limited edition model with approximately 1,818 black Bullitts produced (5,582 approx. total in green, blue, and black). This was my dad's pride and joy but, sadly, he passed away recently so I have to sell this vehicle for the estate. My dad was the second owner and purchased it from one of his friends. This car has been garage kept, driven infrequently, and is in exceptional condition. My dad always kept up the maintenance and meticulously cared for the vehicle. I didn't even think it had a scratch on it but I found a couple small blemishes when I was looking real close while taking pictures (see attached pictures). Other than those, this car is in near perfect condition. The Bullitt trim includes the following modifications that vary from the typical GT: Twin 57 mm bore throttle body, cast aluminum intake manifold, high-flow mufflers, optimized alternator and pump pully ratios, lowered 3/4", re-valved Tokico struts and shocks, unique stabilizer bars (front and rear), frame rail connectors, 13" Brembo brakes (like the Cobra, red with the Mustang logo), aluminum fuel-filler door, sleeker side scoops, old-school seats, 60's style gauges, and silver interior trim (Bullitt door sills, aluminum shifter knob, stainless pedals positioned for better heal-to-toe feel). Horse power has been increased to 265 HP (though dyno tests report close to 275 as does initial Ford projections, reportedly) and torque increased to 305 ft-lb. The stereo is the stock Mach 460 stereo which was the only option available from Ford for the Buillitts. Also, The Buillitt did not have a spoiler stock but my dad added one later along with the custom graphics. This car is beautiful and one-of-a-kind. You will most likely not find another one near you and will own a car that is unique and collectible. Please feel free to contact me to view the car in person or for additional details and photos. On Nov-06-12 at 13:06:44 PST, seller added the following information:Based on some recent questions, here is some additional information regarding the vehicle and the sale: The tires were replaced on March 6th, 2010 and have approximately 1650 miles on them. The Mustang has current Utah registration and has a Utah title since that is where my dad lived, however, it is currently located in my garage in Henderson, Nevada. My name is listed on the title as an "or" so I can personally sign over the title, bill of sale, etc. to the buyer. Though I'm selling it for his estate, nothing will be different to the buyer's perspective than if I were selling it as my own.
