This is a garage-kept, gently-used Honda Elite 250 in EXCELLENT CONDITION with only 2682 original miles. I am selling it for my 76 year old Father-in-law who does not ride it enough to justify keeping it. When this scooter model was first released in 1985, it was the most powerful scooter in North America. It goes over 70mph and gets over 70 miles per gallon and it is fun every step of the way. It can go on the Freeway if needed. It is highly sought after and collectable today. I have an Elite 250 myself and believe this to be one of the best scooter models ever. A quick Google search on Honda CH 250 Elite will reveal the fact that this scooter is very popular. It has quite a loyal following. This scooter has no issues. It starts up quickly and reliably. It can be ridden daily for transportation or on the weekends for fun. The only problems have been related to not riding it often enough and using gasoline blended with ethanol. We have had to take it to the Dealer to get the carburetor cleaned a couple of times. For this reason, we now use only ethanol free gasoline and this solves the problem. The Dealership tells me if it is ridden enough this will not be an issue but I still think the ethanol-free gasoline is the way to go if you can get it easily. There are a few minor scratches but nothing major. The scooter looks and drives great. The seat is in excellent shape with no tears. The tires are great. The battery is in good condition. The digital speedometer works flawlessly. It comes with the original Owner's Manual and tool kit. Buyer must place a $500 deposit within 48 hours of winning. I accept paypal or cashier’s checks.
