Vehicle Detail

Here is my 1973 Chevrolet Caprice Convertible. Her name is Isis. This is a very nice car, it has 68,600 original miles. I wish i could keep it, but i just don't have the room, so it's time for Isis and I to part. If you need any extra, more specific pictures, please feel free to email or call me and i will get them to you as soon as i can. Also please feel free to ask any question at anytime and i will get back to you as quick as i can. I want whoever is considering to make a bid to feel confident and know what they need to know about this car before they bid. With all that said, here's some more specifics on this Chevy: 68,652 original miles. Everything is original with the exception of the new top, and CD player. Never been on big wheels, painted, body filler, or any other crap.6.6L 400 c.i.d. motor 350TH Trans. Engine runs great, even with the old little 2barrel carb. Tranny shifts good and does what it's supposed to do. The engines performance, along with alot of other little tell-tales around the car, indicates to me that the mileage is original. It has plenty of life left in it..PLENTY.Convertible top is 2 years old, works great, needs a little help going up sometimes, but its never stopped me from putting it up. I think it just needs a slight alignment. Has original paint. It does still have shine to it, but it's original, 40 year old paint.. the nose has paint blistering, no rust, just paint issue. The car has blemishes, and light scratches and normal wear. All that aside, it looks great from 10 feet away, but if your looking for perfection, this isn't for you. It's good, solid, driver quality until you want to repaint it.Underside is very clean. Trunk floor is solid, good gas tank, good exhaust, frame is 100% solid. The passenger side, rear floor pan is soft, the others are all rock solid. The body is decent, a couple little dings, light sun fading here and there, the usual. Only real issue is where the previous owner had an accident with her garage door, which is what led her to get rid of the car. The RH rear quarter panel has a dent in it, passenger door is dented, and some of the fender. (see pics) The fender and quarter panel i would say is easily fixable, but the door might need professional repair, or just replaced.. Really sucks that she had to do that to the car, but at least she knew enough that it was time to sell it because she couldn't handle it anymore. The rear quarter panels are pretty solid, could use a little attention, but could probably be patched on the car. I honestly don't think they would have to be cut out and replaced. The fender skirts are solid, still intact, and work perfect, and the quarter panels are not separateing from the inner trunk at all. Trunk is very clean and very solid. NO HOLES.Interior is in very good shape. The carpet is in good condition, not all ripped and tattered. Seats are above average, 1 or 2 little slits in the seats from stress. Dash has usual cracks. Everything works perfect- horn, windows, gas gauge, speedo, lights, warning lights, switches, etc. Included is a JVC CD/IPOD stereo. Door panels are in good shape. New parts include: Horn Relay, Power top motor and relay, spark plugs, wires and distributer cap, donut gaskets for exhaust y-pipe, power steering belt, new front and rear brakes (2010) and new top (2010)Car starts, drives, stops, and sounds great. Perfect car to dig right into and get her restored. She deserves it. Everything works, she just needs to get pretty'd up.Overall, this is a great old classic chevy, that you can have a ton of fun in as it sits until you can completely restore it. Or just drive it and enjoy it!Again, if there is ANYTHING you need to know about this car please contact me. Especially before you bid. I would prefer phone calls, but email if you must. Car is priced reasonably for the condition. But please don't think the car is being given away just because it has a few dents. It's a great running, and riding, classic car. Get the body right, and you got a $10k+ car. Thanks and please don't bid unless you are ready to pay PLEASE!! Deposit of $500 due within 48hrs of auction end, and full payment due within 10 days. Thanks for looking, and good luck! (585-520-2440) TERMS: Payment will be accepted by either cash in person or via paypal. Winning bidder will make a $500 deposit in first 48 hrs after auction end. FULL PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 10 DAYS. NO EXCUSES. DON'T BID UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping.
