Vehicle Detail
This car was assembled in San Jose and spent most of it's life in California, original color was Sauterne Green, had car stripped down to bare metal in 2003 and repainted, bumpers are original and had them re-chromed, all metal on the car is original except chrome molding on front of hood and chrome molding on trunk deck. Motor is original block with 65 heads and big valves, has a mild cam and motor was bored .30 over, rear end is 411 geared, all this information about motor and rear end is per previous owner. I recently put a brand new Edelbrock 1406 with fuel pressure regulator on the Edelbrock intake and installed a Mallory Breakerless distributor. Motor is very strong and runs very well, interior is all original and has in-dash tach which was a special order and very rare for the "C" code cars. Interior carpet is orginal and needs to be replaced at some point. Transmission is C4 and leaks a little fluid but works fine. Car has original AM radio, but no speakers, I have a set of speakers but have not installed them yet. I have owned this car since 2001 and it is very dependable, there is no rust in the body and only mild surface rust on under body, wheels are American Racing with relatively new tires that were purchased in 2001.
