IF YOU HAVE AN OFFER, JUST SUBMIT IT NOW. WAITING UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE DOES NOT GIVE ME TIME TO RESPOND, AND DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES THAT I WILL ACCEPT IT. 1972 Ford Bronco 302 V8 4 Speed Top Loader Transmission Always garaged since my purchase in 2007, I have focused on mechanical and chassis upgrades while working on the vehicle. It runs and drives great. The 4 speed makes it perfect for everyday driving, and it cruises down the highway at 70 with no issues. Nearly all the steering components have been replaced. It handles very well at all speeds, and does have power steering. Dual shocks at all four corners make for a pretty nice ride compared to other Broncos I have been in. The front disc brakes were a huge improvement in the stopping power, and everything has been upgraded with stainless steel lines. Rear drum brakes were replaced shortly after I acquired the vehicle, and are still like new. Extended e-brake cables were also added to allow for full rear suspension articulation. I do not know the full history of the engine, but it was rebuilt by the previous owner at a well known shop here in Portland, OR. (Their tag is still on the block). It has an Edelbrock 4 barrel carb with no issues. I installed JB stainless headers and had custom Magnaflow dual exhaust installed by Exhaust Specialties in Beaverton, OR. It sounds really good, but not too obnoxious. Also has all new plugs, plug wires, coil, cap and rotor. No lack of power! In fact I take great joy in roaring past all the hybrids on the freeway! I upgraded to a 3 core aluminum radiator, and have never had any cooling problems...even when stuck in traffic on a 100 degree day. Temp sending unit was also recently replaced. It does not burn any oil, although the rear main seal leaks slightly after driving, which is common with these vehicles. On the interior, I replaced the factory seats with some plush neoprene Corbeau Moab bucket seats and secured Corbeau 4 point belts to the age. The custom 6 point cage was built by a local fab shop near Portland. It is certainly unique, and I have not seen another one quite like it. At the moment it is just secured to the tub since I had not determined if I was done with the cage (was thinking about adding seat frames) and might still want to add a carpet kit, so I was waiting to finish the interior before securing to the frame. I did coat the entire tub with Herculiner, mostly to help my dogs from sliding around, but it does not prevent you from adding a carpet kit or doing anything else with the interior. The dash, dashpad, and gauges (all working) are all stock. It does have a Grant steering wheel with Bronco emblem. I upgraded the stereo system with an Alpine deck, amp, 5.5" door speakers, and 6"x9" rear speakers (in boxes). The deck is XM ready and has Ipod connectivity. It sounds really good...even with the top off crusing down the road at 70! Wipers, lights, etc. all work and just dropped in a new Die Hard Gold battery. All glass is good with no cracks or scratches. It has the stock fuel tanks, 10 gallon main and 8 gallon auxilary. Both work fine, but the gauge for the auxillary tank does not read correctly. Every suspension spring, bushing, shock, shackle, and bolt in the suspension system is new. It was replaced with a Tom's Brono 2.5" lift kit, including the long travel 11 pack rear springs and progressive front springs. I have 31" BFG AT's on the vehicle, which are still at 95%, but you could easily squeeze 33's under the fenders without any additional lift. The rubber is on classic 5 slot mags, which are the perfect classic look for these Broncos. Although not shown in the pictures, it does have a the matching spare wheel. I have over $1,000 in the rear bumper after powder coating. It is the Rock Blocker series offered from Wild Horses 4x4. 1/4" plate steel with swing away tire carrier and jerry can rack, and I have added a Hi-Lift jack carrier. They even offer a bolt on cooler rack for this bumper that you could add at any time. I added a brand new Bestop Soft Top, which is the nicest you can find for early Broncos. All the windows zip out easily for some natural AC on hot days. I have drove through a few Portland monsoons with this top, and experienced no leaks. I would reccommend new door seals if you plan on regularly driving in poor weather. I do have the original hard top sitting behind the house. All of the glass is good, and the lift gate works. The front edge of the top leaked badly and was the victim of a poorly attempted repair by the previous owner. Although beyond my ability, it can probably still be repaired. I decided to go with the soft top since this was mainly a summer vehicle for me anyway. Other than the top and rear bumper, I haven't touched the exterior of this Bronco. It does need paint if you are looking for a show quality rig. There is no rust on the body or frame. It does have a few dents in the right front fender, a scrape in the drivers door, and a small dent in the hood where the radiator cap was previous rubbing. Nothing that couldn't be easily repaired with a little TLC from the body shop. Overall it is very solid, clean, and straight vehicle. I have receipts for all the work and parts I've put into the vehicle. If you are looking for a Bronco where most of the ugly work has been done, and you just need to add the finishing touches to make it your own...this is the rig for you!
