Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1971 C3 Numbers Matching Corvette offered at NO RESERVE!!! Please DO NOT bid unless you are seriously going to buy the car!!! I do not want to deal with fake bidders, tire kickers, or those that cannot come up with the funds!!!! This car is an all original numbers matching beauty that turns heads wherever it goes. The engine is the original 454 cubic inch and pounds out 365 horsepower and 460 cubic inches of torque. The engine is paired with the original matching Turbo Hydromatic 3 speed transmission. The car starts right up and produces that rumble that all muscle car fans crave. The car sits on 4 beautifully polished rally wheels that feature BF Goodrich 255 tires. The paint is in very good condition and the original famous "Mille Miglia" red color is featured. The body is in great shape and I would note one minor blemish which is a chip above one of the wheel wells in the paint. I have a detailed photo to show this, which is easily fixable for minimal cost. All of the chrome pieces are in place and shine like new. The interior is black LEATHER with wood trim and is is very good condition. As far as options, this car has them all with: factory A/C, power steering, power brakes, power windows, and the removable rear window. The only real change I made on the car was to put in a very retro looking radio that is digital and has a connector for an IPod or Mp3 player. The new radio's retro style makes it appear as if it is a natural fit. However, I am including the ORIGINAL radio with the car as well. The NADA value of this car is between $38,000 and $42,000. The C3 era Vette's are the fastest appreciating Corvettes right now, with pre-1972 being especially attractive because those cars retained all of the power and speed before emissions and insurance law changes effectively killed the Muscle Car era beginning in late 1972. Again this is a quality car and much care has been taken to preserve the originality of the car by rebuilding existing parts rather than replacing with new. If you are looking for a completely restored car you probably need to up your price range significantly. Unlike many cars of this era, a clear title with VIN accompanies the car which adds significant collector value. Other recent work of note: Rebuilt original Rochester carburetorUpgraded engine fan Brand new battery cablesBrand new 1000 amp batteryBrand new starterNew power steering cablesNew front steering rods. I also have the car listed for sale locally and with a reputable national dealer (Streetside Classics) so I reserve the right to end the auction early. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due immediately upon auction end via Paypal I am happy to assist the buyer with shipping. Please email me with any inquiries, and please SERIOUS bidders only. I can answer any and all questions about the car and have the ability to provide more pictures if you like.
