THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN KENTUCKY. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEFORE BIDDING. DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on one previously owned 2003 Chevrolet Silverado Extended cab pickup truck. It is a 4x4 truck. It has the 4.8 Liter V8 Gasoline engine in it. It is Dark Gray Metalic in color and has 146,040. miles on it. VIN: 1GCEK19V33E354848 This Silverado has been deemed to be surplus property and has been turned in to us by the Kentucky State Police. KSP has claimed that this truck is of no further use to them or the state of Kentucky and has asked us to sell it for them. This pickup truck needs a battery. It will not start without being jumped and will need to jumped again upon restarts. The 4.8 L engine seems to run fine. Tires are LT235/85R16 and are Good Year Wrangler M&S with over half of the tread life remaining. These tires are rated Load Range "E". The Air Conditioner blows and the compressor kicks in and out like it should but it does not blow out cold air. Front Bumper: It looks straight and there are some scuff marks on the corners in the plastic parts and a little on the chrome in the corners too. Chrome is dirty looking. The plastic on top of bumper is nice and it is black but the plastic on the bottom section has faded a lot. There are two (2) tow hooks in the lower section of the front end. The Grill is nice and the chrome is good but the Chevy emblem has faded and some of the 'bowtie' is peeling inside of the emblem. Headlights, turn signals, Daytime Running Lights and safety flashers all work well. DRIVER'S SIDE: Front fender looks pretty good. Driver's door has a couple of chips in the paint below the door molding. Rear door has several little scratches and a small dent below the window and some scratches under the door. Outside of bed: Bed rail has a lot of scratches down the length of it and just over the curve of the rail down the side. (Same thing on the Passenger side of bed also). There is 2-sided tape and residue and some chips of paint missing where a tool box had been mounted previously. The rest of the side of the bed has has a few scratches and there is one blemish in the paint forward and above the 4x4 decal. There is a couple of small chips and a couple of small scratches too. Rear Bumper has 3-4 small dents on the right side of it. Tailgate has a couple of pretty good size scuff marks on it, one on each side. PASSENGER SIDE: Bed: There are a couple of small dents near the back around the 4x4 decal. The bed rail looks like the other side with about the same scatches, residue, tape and chips. Rest of this side looks pretty good except maybe a feww small scratches and a couple of small chips in the paint that I might not have seen. There is a long thin / narrow and light scratch all along the passenger side of this truck. HOOD: 5-6 chips in the paint mostly along the leading edge of hood. INTERIOR: The TACHOMETER and the SPEEDOMETER are broken or just don't work. The Odometer does still work. The windows have a dark tint on them. The interior is dark Gray or maybe Black and the seats are dark gray cloth and the capet is dark Gray with some stains throughout. The truck has Cruise Control, Tilt Steering Wheel, Power Door Locks, Power Outside Mirrors and a 12 Volt power Supply in the dash. The cigareete lighter is missing. The AIRBAG light stays on. Headliner is somewhat dirty and has some marks on it. The driver's seat is worn and fabric is torn and some of the padding on edge of the seat is missing. (See Photo). Consoles upper section has the cloth pulled loose and can probably be put back with a liitle effort. Truck has Rear Window defrost and Heated outside mirrors. The radio is AM / FM / CD / Clock with info displayed on dail. It works and sounds good too. The Volume knob has color coming off of it now and it is almost white. Rearview mirror has temperature and direction of travel (compass) in it. 4-wheel Drive works well. It shifts into each range and drives well in each selection as it should. Trailer-Tow light in dash comes on when you push the button at the end of the shifter handle. There is a full size spare up under the rear and the jack and jack handle are under the rear passengers seat. This truck does have some issues but it runs well and seems to have a lot of life left in it. Just needs a good cleaning. We had this vehicle running while the pictures were being taken.
