1958 GMC 100 Series Truck Sunfire Brilliant Orange Metallic PaintBrand new interior, tires This truck was built to be a driver. Since four wheel drive trucks of this era were few and far between it was built on a 1987 four wheel drive Blazer chassis. Brand new Falken Wild peak all terrain tires 315/75/16 on lifted and upgraded suspension. The automatic transmission was completly rebuilt and upgraded as well. The engine is a stock 1987 Blazer 350 C.I. with Edlebrock dress up kit with full tune up and service just done. A free flowing exhaust system with dual tailpipes is properly routed out the rear sides. Dual steering stabilizers have been installed to make it track well going down the road. When you get in and drive you are very happy to be on the upgraded chassis for overall drivability.On the interior, a custom carpet kit is professionally fitted in black that looks great. The seat was fully rebuilt and re-padded with period style houndstooth pattern to match the exterior.The buyer will want to upgrade the dash, due to the fact the original gauges are not working properly. I have not looked into this, but I know there are lots of options to make this part your own. The odo read 2544, but I would asume this is not correct due to changed chassis and inoperable gauge. I had all the window regulators and handles rebuilt, plus all new door seals, window tracks felts and guides so they dont rattle and work smoothly. I also had the side windows replaced because the the lamination was seperated. The only other problem is the wiper motor assembly needs replaced. The truck does not leak oil or have any mechanical flaws that I know of. Very strong running and is very different from most 100 series truck you will see out there.
