This classic Chevy underwent a complete restoration approximately 3,000 miles ago. It was completed in 2009 and is complete with a stack of receipts. The exterior displays very nice Hugger Orange paint throughout. This is a detailed build inside and out. It is powered by a healthy 350 c.i. pump gas V8 backed by a 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. This is a cruiser that you can show. Many of our photos of this classic El Camino truck were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum, located only minutes from our showroom. The exterior showcases a high quality base/clearcoat finish in Hugger Orange. The body panels align correctly and the body is very, very straight and clean. This is a really nice '69 El Camino that we are proud to display. Under the steel cowl induction hood you'll find a warmed-over 350 V8. Note the intricate hand pinstripes accentuating the cowl bulge. This drivetrain has approximately 3,000 miles thus far. The engine features a roller valvetrain with hydraulic lifters and roller rockers. The improved smallblock Chevrolet's increased thirst is quenched via a Holley 750cfm 4bbl. carburetor atop a Hugger Orange powdercoated aluminum Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake manifold. Exhaust gases are expelled in a hurry through custom Hooker headers and a true dual exhaust system with Thrust mufflers. The fuel/air mixture gets an enhanced spark courtesy of an MSD 6-AL box with rev limiter. Timing duties are spot on thanks the gear drive unit. Further inspection of the engine compartment will confirm clean and detailed sheet metal throughout the inner fenders, core support, and firewall. The original vin and cowl tag are also in place. The undercarriage is solid throughout, displaying replaced bushings and an updated front disc brake setup with cross-drilled and slotted rotors. The 12-Bolt rear end has also been rebuilt and fitted with 3.73 gears and a posi-traction. The transmission of choice is the highway friendly and low first geared 700R4 automatic. This was GM's transmsision of choice for many years in the Corvette and truck platforms. The custom dual exhaust system features thrust mufflers and is paired with chromed exhaust tips. Opens the doors to GM high performance and classic good looks. The interior features clean vinyl and cloth bench seating. The round gauge cluster houses the stock speedometer and gauges. There are Autometer Phantom gauges mounted under the dash to monitor engine revs, oil pressure, and water temperature. The sound system features an Alpine CDA 9884 head unit paired with a Kenwood 800 watt amplifier mounted behind the seat along with a JL subwoofer. Custom moulded kickpanels house speakers left and right. A standard 3-spoke GM steering wheel is the perfect choice. This is one good-lookin' El Camino. Prim and proper with a dose of attitude, this low-slung muscular stance is aided by custom 17-inch coated aluminum & gunmetal wheels wrapped in B.F. Goodrich G-Force T/A radials. These sticky meats are sized at 275/40ZR18s out back and 235/40ZR18s up front. The bed is in excellent condition, just as the rest of the body is. This bed is covered and protected with a rubber mat. The bright work is in excellent condition front to back on this El Camino. The tailgate is clean and detailed, check out the new hardware throughout.
