This is an award winning show car for which no expense was spared during the restoration process. There is only 1414 miles driven on this car since the restoration. Please take the time to look at all the photos of this beautiful car. The list of high quality parts used throughout is very extensive. The engine is a 350 bored 30 over with 11:1 compression. It is equipped with a Holley 650 double pumper, and a 515 lift competition cam with 300 duration, and a high torque starter. An MSD distributor and crane ignition box sends spark through Moroso racing wires. Hooker headers send the exhaust through Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. The entire exhaust system has been jet coated. Cooling is accomplished with a new Flexlite aluminum 4-core radiator and stainless cool flex radiator hoses. The power is transferred to the 12-bolt 411 ratio positraction rear via a Turbo 400 automatic transmission equipped with a 3000 rpm hole-shot B&M torque converter. A line lock system has also been added and a Cheetah SCS handles the shifting chores. There is a polished transmission cooler that is mounted under the radiator to aid in keeping the trans fluid at the proper temperatures. Lakewood traction bars assist the power transfer to the rear wheels. This car is extremely FAST.......but drives with ease and comfort due to the upgrades including power steering, power disc front brakes, Global West front suspension kit, rear leaf springs and gas shock absorbers. A Vintage Air Conditioning system provides comfort to the interior. The floors and trunk have been insulated with insulation matting. Trunk is completely custom carpeted. A trophy plaque is shown in the trunk photo of the car. In the interior an Autometer Tachometer and engine gauge package monitor all the engine activity. A Lecarra steering wheel compliments the very nice black interior. A SONY AM/FM CD stereo system provides the tunes. As you can see in the photos, an extensive assortment of chrome plated items compliment the appearance of the car. They include chrome valve covers, air cleaner, intake manifold, engine pulley and bracketry, alternator, a/c pump, shock towers, cross members, and steering box. The car is painted bright red with a Goodmark cowl hood added. The original hood is available to the buyer and is painted to match the car. This paint is like glass ! The wheels are polished aluminum Weld Rod Lite wheels. The front tires are BFGoodrich T/A radials P195/60R15, and the rears are P235/60-15 BFGoodrich Drag Radials. Careful calculation was employed so that the car sits and looks right and doesn't have too much or too little tire in the limited space rear wheel wells. The reserve on this car on this car is about half of the total investment involved in this restoration. This is a show and go car that would be a huge hit at any car show.
