1970 VOLKSWAGEN 1600. I have for sale a great example of a rapidly appreciating and increasingly rarer 1969 Volkswagen coupe. This car is dark blue with white interior and a 4-speed. By no means is this car a perfect $20,000 example of a VW. It is, however, an excellent platform for a restoration project. While the engine runs well and the car drives nice, the body has some imperfections. The hood is dented as well as the right front fender. ( I do have a brand new R/F fender that goes with the car). The engine cover has some surface rust as do both bumpers. The only other rust problem I can see is the right front floorboard area where the floor meets the center tunnel. The interior needs work as well. The seats need upholstery and the door panels each have a round hole where a previous honor must have installed speakers. There seems to be a minor wiring issue with one of the rear taillights. Tires, brakes and clutch are all in good condition. I have tried to be as accurate as possible with the description.
