Vehicle Detail

1952 Chevrolet 6-Passenger Coupe, Very nice driver I bought this car in 2001 to use while my other 2 cars were being painted, then liked it so much that I decided to hang onto it. I have done some upgrades to it but don't drive it a lot anymore so it is time for it to go. The car came from Georgia so it has not been exposed to snowy, salted roads, Here is what I've done to it since I've owned it. Interior completely redone, Body repainted, Bumpers & Grill replated, differential changed to 3.55 powerglide, Carburetor, starter, & generator rebuilt, Exhaust manifold split and new dual exhaust installed, Front windshields and rubber replaced, rear windshield rubber replaced, Clutch rebuilt. There is an auxillary electric fuel pump installed (see picture) to aid starting if car has been sitting for long periods. Seller reserves the right to end auction early due to car being listed in local ad. If you are looking for a nice driver quality old car without spending a fortune on one of the High Dollar Cars, this could be the one for you!On Oct-21-12 at 07:43:03 PDT, seller added the following information: There is am external sunvisor (goes over the front windshield) painted dark blue, that goes with the car. The engine number is O 341137 F 2558. It was put in when the original owner had the car, according to his nephew. There is a sticker on the engine that reads: Wheeler Mfg. Co., Macon, Ga. #75204, which is probably the business that put the engine in the car. It is most likely a factory crate engine from the Flint, Michigan plant, built on Feb. 5, 1958. I have no idea how many miles are on the engine but it runs good and I've never had any problems with it. Bidders are welcome to come and inspect the car; I don't think that you will be dissapointed unless you are expecting to see a body-off or frame-off restored car. It has simply been nicely, cosmetically restored. The car is located just off of the #99 exit of Interstate 65 in Indiana, a little south of Indianapolis. These additional comments are in response to some questions I gotten about the car. Send me your phone number if you want to talk about the car. Thanks, Scott
