Boy were we wrong! Not only did they last, they outlasted many cars made in the USA. The rest is history. Like all Hondas, this little car can hold its own against any car out there as far as reliability goes! This tiny little car was one of the first to come into the USA. Honda's reputation for excellence started with this car and today speaks for itself. Today, these little cars have become icons to collectors. Heres your chance to get one! Drives great and can be used today for the same purpose as it was designed for over 40 years ago; local, reliable and inexpensive transportation. Use it around town or put it in the closet until it grows up. Either way, its alot of fun and your bound to get your moneys worth. The Honda 600 sedan (N600) is a small car at just over 10 feet long, and weighing about 1300 pounds and gets 45mpg. Although not overpowering by any means, this two cylinder 36cubic inch motorcycle engine puts out 36 horsepower,. They were actually fairly sophisticated and powerful compared with the other micro cars of the time. Some of the features that differentiated the Honda 600 model from other Hondas were the front power disc brakes, 4 speed all synchro transmission, a tachometer and a surprisingly spacious interior with reasonably comfortable seats. This one actually has a vinyl top. The "N" or sedan version has a liftback trunk lid and fold-down rear seat that opens for larger storage items..Chrome is in great shape as is the rust free body and paint. The interior is also in great shape. The are no seat tears or dash cracks, gauges all work as they should and she is very clean. Brakes, lights and all safety equipment work fine. Windows roll up & down easily. The engine starts immediately, cruises easily and the car stops as it should. She shifts smoothly and can get out of its own way easily.
