Vehicle Detail

I bought this car because my favorite color is blue, I also have wanted to own a GTI for as long as I can remember. Now that I own it, I have recently begun work as a pizza delivery driver and this car is way too much fun and way to nice to trash it doing delivery work, also, I need something with a little better mileage since gas prices are not getting any lower. Not that it gets bad fuel mileage, on average I get 18mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway. For a car with 230+ horsepower, that is not bad at all. Title is clear and tabs are good until September of next year. It has a ton of recent work done on it and many new parts that I will list below. Year: 2000 Model: GTI Engine: 12v VR6 (6 cylinder, bulletproof) Miles: 129000 Transmission: 5 speed manual Exterior: -Painted speed blue. It is a matte paint. I waxed it just last week to prepare it for the harsh winter months to come. The paint job is not the greatest but I would give it a 7.5/10. The good thing is that it was painted two months ago. -Underneath the car was painted with 3M rubberized undercoating, which is one of the toughest paints you can use, to protect against rust. -NO RUST. -Oettinger grill -ECS tuning stubby antenna -Yellow H7 bulbs for high beams -Full Relay HID Kit Headlamps running on 6000K. -Right mirror side delete (I can put the mirror back on...) -Roof racks! -Full LED rear tailights! Interior: -Alpine 2 way speakers all around. -All leather, recently conditioned with Lexan premium leather products, making the leather really nice. -Alpine CDE-125BT with Ipod hook up in glove box, great for listening to your iPhone, while charging it, even while using the GPS! -Euro switch -Sound deadening which makes the car feel much nicer and the ride smoother. -wires are run to the trunk for a sub and amp -New driver door latch assembly -Original VW Monster Rubber mats, which stay in place and protect your car against snow and salt, and dirt and other nasties. -New rear hatch shocks. Engine/transmission -AC delete -SAI and emissions delete, along with resistor kit from Integrated Motorsports -Autotech CAI -Autotech 2.5 inch stainless steel exhaust with Magnaflow muffler, rumbles beautifully! -Autotech 262 camshafts -HD valve springs -New valve lifters -New plugs, wires, and fuel filter -New timing chains and guides, this is really important since you won't have to do the timing chains for another 100,000 miles! -new crankshaft seal -new transmission fluid -TT short shifter -New thermostat, crackpipe (this is a coolant problem fix that many VWs have and saves you a lot of time and headaches!), and thermostat housing -New MAF -Stage 1 clutch with light weight flywheel -Light weight crank and power steering pulley -New cylinder head studs and gaskets -Urethane bushings in transmission dogbone mount -deleted secondary radiator and hosing Wheels -18" Aristos with new tires as of last month. These tires are 225 45 r18, and were not cheap since they are all Z rated. -There is a full sized spare in the trunk and the wheels all have safety lug nuts. Most Recent Work Done: -Full synthetic oil change. -Full synthetic gearbox oil change. -Full brake line and clutch system drain and bleeding done. The bad: -Because of the emission deletes, the car flashes a check engine light which says 'Emissions Workshop.' I just ignore it because it does not cause any problems. The car gets good fuel mileage and is a big blast to drive, it is definitely a fast car and more than that, it is a ton of fun. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere, I just drove back and forth to Fargo, which is about a five hour drive each way and had no trouble at all. I reserve the right to end the auction early because car is also offered for sale locally. If you have any questions, please let me know.
