i purchased the car in the mid 90's in the desert in Arizona and restored it to factory spec. the engine was rebuilt, the interior was redone with 1965 original material as from factory, new top w glass window, original carpet inserts(very rare). the only modern mods i have added is the stereo and cd changer( i have an extra stock dash if you want the complete original look. the car sits on centerline wheels and good 50's all around( handles flawlwessly). i also have the set of original steel wheels as wel as mint condition wire hub caps. the original spare is still with the car as well. the car is still equiped with the hard to find operational veritable torque converter( basically underdrive in each gear). this car can easily drive across the country as is and i have done so. in the engine i have kept all original with the exception of roller rockers from Mondello and a very slight cam change. as close as was available due to the unusual parts used in production.
