This car is arguably the best midyear (1974-1977) 911 currently on the market. I’ve owned several of these cars over the years and none come close to the overall condition and quality as this one. I can almost not even find a flaw on this car! The car was sold new in dry Colorado and has stayed there in Colorado its entire life. It was always stored in a temperature controlled garage. I honestly don’t think this car has ever seen a drop of rain; it is that perfect underneath and overall! The body is as good as they get. Not a dent, all original panels, the paint is near perfect. The gapping is absolutely perfect on all panels, just like it rolled out of the factory. All the rubbers are in perfect original shape as well. All the chrome and trim is pristine original. The underneath is so clean, you can almost eat a fancy steak dinner off it. It is so original that the car still has the original brownish cosmoline that Porsche sprayed over the undercoating, suspension, and drivetrain for protection from the elements. The rear sway bars still have the original red rubber bushings from new! The front trunk is all original and in new condition as well. The original spare, jack, and air compressor is all there. The front trunk carpet is like new too. There isn’t a dent on the floors, the rockers look brand new, and the front pan is pristine perfect. When I mean the underneath is pristine, I mean absolutely perfect! As if the body and underside isn’t nice enough, the interior is again pristine! The original dash is so perfect without a single crack. All the original carpets are in excellent shape. The seats are in perfect shape and are still lined in the very unusual and rare cloth insert patterns. The Targa top is also pristine and fits like a glove. The Targa top headliner is perfect. The sunvisors are perfect. All the electronics work as they should. The only non-original item in the interior was an added speaker in the rear parcel shelf. Mechanically, the cars runs and drives like brand new. It just feels so new and tight in every aspect. The engine compartment is also all original and pristine shape. The engine leaks no oil, does not smoke, and runs phenomenal. This car was never equipped with the notorious thermal reactors. I have all the original documents and records for the car including the original manual with the maintenance record booklet that has the original owners name and address along with the periodic dealer service stamps with documented mileage. I have a free and clear title. Overall, this is the best quality mid-year 911 that there is currently for sale and has been for a while. It is very uncommon to see a car that is so drop-dead original as this one. You can enter this car into any Porsche Concours event and receive high recognition and awards. These mid-year cars are rising up in value by the day, as enthusiasts are starting to recognize the fact that these cars have very close ties with the early longhood 911s in so many ways. This car represents one of the finest available.
