Up for sale is a peppy 1996 Saturn SL2 4 door sedan, well maintained, with only 156,172 miles on it. It starts right up for you when you want to go. It This has a 1.9 liter 4 cylinder with a 5 speed standard transmission. The car runs and drives great. It really hugs and takes the windy, curvy roads with ease. Heat runs great and AC blows cold. Factory speakers did not sound good so they were replaced with Scoche HD that now sounds great with the 12 disc cd changer. The battery was replaced less than a year ago and the new headliner was replaced because it sagged. The driver rear brake caliper was bad so I had it changed and resolved any brake issues. There was rust on the engine cradle so I had that changed for possible safety reasons. The tires are in good shape and the vehicle recently had an alignment done. The oil pan and the valve cover gaskets were changed because of oil leak and it hasn't lost any oil since. The car had an oil change about a month ago when all the gaskets were changed. There are some cosmetic flaws due to a young deer running into the side of the car, resulting in need of replacement of the windshield according to the lady my husband bought the car from. The sun roof does not work but it also does not leak. The back seats flip down to make more space available. This is a great everyday driver. The title is clean and clear. and has a clean vehicle history report. I am including a Haynes Automotive Repair Manual. This car has been gone over by a reliable mechanic and anything that needed to be corrected was. My husband bought this car from a professional lady who mainly drove it to and from her place of employment fairly close to her home. The car is being sold because it was my husband's who drove it very gingerly for the time he had it which was less than a year before he became really ill. He told me that he got really good mileage with it. However,I think you will agree, good mileage is contingent with how a person drives.
