We are selling our 1971 VW Westfalia Bus. This is one of the nicest examples of an un-molested bus I have ever seen. The 1971 bus is probably the most desired bus to have because it has the power front disk brakes and the reliability of the 1600 dual port motor. This bus was originally from Texas so there is no rust on the bus. It runs, drives and shifts great. The only problem is the brake booster is bad. The previous owner had a lot of mechanical work done to the bus. It has a rebuilt motor with low miles since re-build which I have the receipt for as well as a handful of other receipts. The front seats have brand new seat covers in factory material. The rest of the interior is in nice shape. The top pops up and goes down as it should. The canvas has seen better days, tried to doctor up rip but didn't have good luck. I have factory stool, sleeper cot(up top), and front hammock for the bus. Also have the factory jack and most of the tool kit. The original flooring looks to be in nice shape under the carpet thats in there now. The ice box looks to be in good shape and all there. The bed folds down and works nice. I have the bug net for the rear hatch as well as the factory curtain for the driverside of the bus. You must remember it is a 1971 and there are some flaws with it. There are touch up spots in the paint, the left rear has some ripples from small dents(see pics) and the front has been repainted. This bus is a really great driver the way it is or you can spend a little more time on it and have one heck of a nice show car. You could buy this thing and camp with it as soon as you get it.
