I purchased this car from a hotrod shop approximately three years ago; they had planned to cut it up for the front end suspension, but didn't have the heart seeing the complete original condition. I believe that the car was built in San Jose and sold new in LA California. The car had not been registered for over a decade so the DMV made me surrender the original blue & yellow tags and issued new plates. I had planned to do a complete restoration since I was given one similar upon high graduation in 1974, however; I do not see where I am going to get the time and I have lost storage space. The car is 99% complete and not currently running. I am unsure whether its the starter or the motor is froze. The engine is the desirable Cologne 171 ci V6 and a one year only for the first year of the Mustang II. From 1975 through 1978 the US version of this engine was messed up. Its an AC car however the compressor and mounting bracket were removed (both are included). In addition ther are five matching pinstripe whitewall tires on five factory wheels that I had powdercoated. The car has the small bell housing C4 AT and is set up with staggered rear shocks and dual exhaust that ends up in one large muffler. This would be a great car for a small V8 or rebuild as is. There is absolutely no rust on this car. The original build sheet is included. I have clear California Title.
