Hi E-Bay, for your consideration, a very good ORIGINAL 1950 Ford Custom Deluxe Tudor, powered by a 226 six-cylinder flathead engine, with manual/3-on-the-tree transmission. This 226 engine was produced by Ford from 1941-51. NO POWER STEERING, NO POWER BRAKES, NO OVERDRIVE. THIS '50 FORD CUSTOM DELUXE TUDOR HAS 63,437 ACTUAL MILES, DRIVEN JUST 1,000 PER YEAR SINCE NEW. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN GARAGED KEPT, AND WAS NOT DRIVEN IN THE WINTER. Having been purchased by the original owner in 1950, he kept this outstanding car until he was not able to drive anymore. (May, 2008) The second proud owner, an older country gentleman, retained possession from May 2008 until recently. He sold his farm house and moved to a small Cluster Home, with no extra garage space. He drove the car only in summer weather. Again, all-original condition, with only one good quality Enamel repaint in the correct factory color, done about 25-30 years ago. The Ford exterior color is Cambridge Maroon (code# 14340). There are a fews cracks in the decklid and taillight, (see picture #19 & 20), but the car is clean and straight and shows very well. The interior is Grey Mohair, and looks to be in good condition. Period-correct seat covers are like new, and show very well. The chrome is all original, has no pitting or other issues, and also shows well. The only modification: dual exhaust, glass-packs, and headers. I have all the factory parts to go back to original, including the manifold. The SPINNER HUBCAPS really make a great addition to the car, I do have the original Ford dog-dish caps as well. (see trunk pictures) The correct Firestone tires are excellent/like new, the trunk still retains the original trunk mat, and matching Firestone spare tire. The underneath is clean and rust-free, also. BLUE-DOT TAIL LIGHTS, AND THE ORIGINAL FORD FACTORY WORKING RADIO, ALSO. Mechanically excellent, recent lube-oil-filter April, 2012, new battery + generator overhauled March, 2011. Also included, the original owners manual and shop manual, both in excellent condition.
