Don’t’ miss out on this great buy of a car. This is the car that you would have built if you had the time or the money and it would have taken you 2 years to complete before you could enjoy driving this beautiful car. Full body- on restoration with custom original interior. Exterior Restoration: A professional shop completely disassembled and stripped 3 paint jobs off this car. After the paint all the side markers, headlamps and correct molding were replaced. The correct decals from Phoenix Graphix were installed and then clear coated so the elements would not affect them. White L.E.D lights were added under the hood to illuminate the shaker hood 6.6 liter decal, which really makes it stand out at night. The wheels were dipped and stripped, then painted factory correct with clear coat. New T/A radials were installed. The exterior work took over two months at the cost of about $9,800.00. Interior Restoration: The seats were upholstered in the original hobnail material and overstuffed for a more comfortable Recaro style fit. Custom firebird emblems were embroidered onto the headrests for a more modern look. A new headliner was installed, new carpet, new plastic moldings, new blower motor and heater core, a/c evaporation unit with a/c control module. The door panels were replaced with O.E.M upgrade. All original parts that could be saved were refurbished. Mechanical restoration front and rear: All the steering components are new, all bushings replaced including all body mounts, p/s pump rebuilt. All brake linings, rotors and drums were resurfaced or replaced. Master cylinder and vacuum booster also replaced. The engine was professionally rebuilt by a Scottsdale machine shop. The head were ported and polished and larger valves were installed new pistons, a competition mild cam, the engine has a slight lope but idles steady at 600 rpm, this is backed up by a complete rebuild on the original turbo hydromantic 350 with a mild shift kit installed. The differential has all new bearings and a competition heavy duty 373 ration gear set, this make this car very quick off the line. All new shocks were installed; new true duel exhaust with catalytic convertors, all the factory emissions equipment is in place. The fuel tank was flushed and new fuel level sensor installed. This car is a real head turner wherever I take it. Only 1,500 miles driven since full restoration. Over $33,000.00 in receipts. This car is fun and fast.
