You are bidding on my 1968 Chevelle Malibu. This is nothing like any Chevelle you will find on Ebay. In fact, there aren’t many like this in the Country that are done this nice. This Chevelle has been completely converted to a Fuel Injected Twin Turbo Front Mount Intercooled LS engine setup backed up by a built 4L80E Transmission and 12 bolt rear differential. Exterior: This Chevelle was originally a California car, then off to Virginia, then Florida where I had purchased it. Now it resides here with me in Illinois. All the body panels are original as well as the floors. The body is straight, no dings or dents. The paint is in good condition, keep in mind this is a driver and not a show car in respect to the paint. The car was repainted prior to me purchasing it. I was told it was done approx. 10 years ago. Interior: The interior is beautiful. It was completely redone top to bottom 6 years ago. Still retains the factory unmodified dash cluster. I have a boost gauge, wideband air/fuel gauge, and shift light mounted to the steering column. Water temp, Oil Press, and Voltage gauges are mounted at the bottom of the dash. Behind the B&M Quick Silver shifter is a custom leather center console armrest with dual cup holders. A Kenwood CD player installed in the dash and 6X9” speakers in the rear deck. Engine: This Chevelle is powered by a twin turbo, fuel injected, front mount intercooled, 6.0 LS engine. This setup was designed to be a 100% drive ANYWHERE street car that runs on pump gas from any state. This is a turnkey fuel injected setup that will give you over 20mpg on the highway and is capable of over 1200hp. The engine is a 6.0 iron block, aluminum headed LS that displaces 364 cubic inches. This engine has been completely gone through with aftermarket rings gapped for boost, new bearings throughout, ARP rod bolts, CompCams camshaft, CompCams pushrods, modified oil pump, Ls2 timing set, double valve springs with titanium retainers, LS9 multi-layer steel head gaskets, and ARP headstuds. Turbo Setup: This is a 1 off completely custom turbo kit made for this exact car. Powered by twin Precision 6076E turbos that are good for over 600HP each. These turbos are controlled by twin Precision 39mm waste gates and a billet manual boost controller. The air comes in through twin K&N filers tucked up outside the engine compartment inside the wheel wells for cool incoming air. The air is then forced through a custom bar and plate aluminum air to air intercooler mounted right up front behind the grill. Fuel System: Custom setup with twin Walbro 255L pumps installed in the factory tank, -8an braided line feeds the Aeromotive A1000 regulator and is returned with -6an braided line. Supplying the 80lb per hour Deka/Seimens injectors are Edelbrock fuel rails that have been modified to fit the intake manifold. In addition to the fuel system is a Snow Performance Water/Meth kit that cools the intake charge and allows for addition boost levels while still running on pump gas 93 octane. The kit turns on when 8psi of boost pressure is reached. The pump and reservoir are mounted in the trunk along with the battery. Cooling System: Giant aftermarket Summit Racing extra capacity aluminum radiator, with dual electric fans that pull over 3500cfm. The fans are controlled to turn on by the PCM at given temperatures. Transmission: To get all the power to the rear is a built 4L80E transmission that is controlled by the PCM that also controls the engine function. This has been upgraded with aftermarket clutches and has a modified valve body. The torque converter is a Midwest billet muti-disc lockup 10.5” converter rated at 3600rpm stall speed. Put it in drive and leave it, all shifting function is controlled by the PCM. All shifts points and tuning are already done. Getting that power from the 4L80E to the 12 bolt is a custom 1000+ HP driveshaft. Suspension/Braking: The rear suspension consists of a Pure Muscle package that includes boxed lower control arms, tubular adjustable upper control arms with reinforced torque boxes. New Monroe shocks in rear. The front suspension has all recent bushings and ball joints. A pair of Comp Engineering 3 way adjustable shocks are installed up front. This Chevelle has disc braking front and rear powered by a HydraTech hydroboost setup that stops on a dime. The power steering is effortless and a joy to drive. Differential: In the rear of the vehicle is a 12 bolt with 3.73 gears and an Auburn posi unit, Moser C-Clip eliminator’s and aftermarket hardened 31 spline axles. Exhaust: Currently installed is 3” piping straight from each downpipe that transfers into 3” oval that exits in front of each rear tire just below the rocker. There are dual 3” cutouts also welded in towards the front of the exhaust system. I did have dual 2 chamber Flowmasters installed that exited by the rear bumper but that system was way too restrictive and created too much backpressure. Wheels/Tires The rims are all Weld Draglite polished aluminum. 15X8” in the rear and 15X6” in the front. Tires are Mickey Thompson Et. Drag Radial P275/60/15 @ 50% tread. Front tires are 26X8" Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R Radials @ 80% tread. Performance/Driveability I have personally built this entire car. I know what it does and can do. You can drive this car anywhere at any time and have the reliability of a daily driver and the performance of a straight up race car. It drives like a dream, take it on a road trip, take it to the track. Take the kids out, my kids fall asleep in the back seat it’s so comfortable. The look, feel, and style of the 60’s, but the technology of today. I have to wipe the drool off the car when I take it to car shows. I have been to the track once with this setup. It performs as follows. 95* day with track temps over 120*, I was being conservative on the tune and ran it on 2 different boost levels. 9.5lbs of boost resulted in a 10.7@ 125mph. 13.5lbs of boost resulted in a 10.2 @ 135mph. These were both with easy 1.60 60ft’s. Keep in mind my race weight is 3925-3950lbs. This was done on pump gas 93 octane. With the stock rod and piston, 13.5lbs of boost was all I was willing to push it that day. With a forged rod and piston, more boost, and a good 60ft time, this setup WILL go 8.9’s all day long.
