Vehicle Detail
1989 Toyota Pickup V-6, Manual Transmission, Real Wheel Drive This truck was a daily driver until a few months back when I bought another Toyota Pickup. I start the truck and run it every other week at least. Starts the first time, never an issue. The tires have about 60-75% of the tread left. The body does have some rust but the frame is very solid. The truck bed has a bed liner in it and looks new under neath. I do have the tailgate as well which is in great shape. The clutch does not slip and feels solid. This truck has over $500 of stereo equipment in in. I put a nice CD player and replaced the factory 4" speakers with aftermarket that sound much better. Additionally there is a truck box behind the seat with a 400 Watt amp and 2 6X9" speakers. The sound is great for what it is. A few months back I did a tune up and a bit more including.... - Air Filter- Spark Plugs- New Set of Wires- Caps & Rotor- Changed Diff Fluid & tranny fluid- Just replaced the front brake pads. As far as what could be fixed...the exhaust does have a leak as most this age do. The O2 sensor could be replaced as well. I drove it the way it is for a year and if I was still going to drive it I personally would not fix these but that is up to the buyer. Overall the O2 sensor doesn't really efffect gas mileage as I get 22MPG on average which is pretty much expected. When driving at a continuous speed of 60MPH or so it will hesitate every now and then. If you press the gas slightly this goes away and is due to the O2 sensor. If that did bother the buyer, an O2 sensor is less the $40. Please feel free to message me with any questions. If I think of anything else good or bad I will post it. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYING...overall I would trust this truck to go anywhere.
