Vehicle Detail
This is an excellent looking Bronco. I don't really need to mention this because it should be obvious but this truck turns all heads. I've seen people almost wreck their vehicles while checking out the Bronco in traffic. Even Jeep people stop and stare with envy. Almost every time I take it anywhere, people stop to say nice Bronco or come by to talk about it. So if you win this, be prepared to deal with all the attention. 1973 Ford Bronco with a straight 6. Transmission is a 3 speed with column shift. The engine starts and runs beautifully. 4X4 works well. Brand new tires (33x12.5 Goodyear Duratrac Wranglers.) 2" body lift. Wild Horses roll bar is new. New alternator, starter, carburetor. Brand new brake drums, shoes, master cylinder, proportioning valve, and brake lines. Body is solid with no visible rust. The front end and steering have been overhauled (new drag link and radius arm bushings) and the ride is straight. I have the original top and doors which will come with sale. Comes with a Wild Horses bikini top. I will not put the top or doors back on the vehicle prior to shipping so arrangements for delivery of these items will need to be made by the buyer. New JVC audio unit/cd/mp3 with rear mounted indoor/outdoor speakers that sound awesome. Plenty of power to hear even with the roof off. The aux fuel tank has been removed. The main fuel tank will need to be replaced as it is leaky(easy job) . I've patched it a couple times but the leak always finds a way. There is a very slight oil leak as well. Mileage is unknown. Odometer does turn but I cannot validate the accuracy. I have a wild horses roll cage that goes around the driver area that is not yet installed. It needs to be welded in. It will come with the sale as well. This Bronco is sold as is where it is. Any shipping charges and arrangements are to be made buy the buyer. There are no warranties implied or given. Please remember that you are bidding on a 39 year old vehicle. Please ask any questions. Vehicle is listed locally so I reserve the right to end auction early if it sells. People have asked if the vehicle can be driven home by the buyer. My response is this: The Bronco runs well but it is a 39 year old vehicle. I drive it on weekends only and it has never left me stranded. I would never attempt to drive it across the country but that doesn't mean it couldn't. OK Here is what I gathered from the first listing. 1) Some potential bidders are concerned about the top and doors. I will take pics of both and post them later today. If any of you know these Broncos, you will know that the top is very heavy. I keep the Bronco parked inside so I never bother with the top. I took it off when I bought it and it has been covered with a tarp in my backyard since. Please rest assured that I do indeed have it and it is in good condition. 2) Rust. I will take pics of the underside as well. The vehicle has normal surface rust on tail pipes, radius arms, etc. However, I know of no rust on the body. 3) I am no Bronco enthusiast so I don't know much about the differential types and what have you. I can take more pictures of these components for those who would like to know. So, Basically check back this evening for new more encompassing pictures. 3) The fuel tank leak is fixed right now. The current repair is holding well and should hold for a good long time. I say a new tank will need to be installed because if I were buying this truck I would replace the tank. However, the stock tank is only 12 gallons. I would put on a 23 gal new tank sold by many early Bronco shops online. So, I don't want to put a new stock tank on in case the new owner wants to install the 23 gal version.
