The engine starts easily and runs well. It has good oil pressure and does not smoke, overheat or make any strange noises. I do not know the displacement, but have been told the cylinder head is the style used on 850, 948 or 1100 engines. Visible upgrades include a NIKKI carburetor and intake manifold, a nice tube header and an alternator. The steering, brakes, clutch, all work smoothly, but 3rd gear synchromesh is a bit slow. The only sign of rust is a 5" X 15" patch panel in the drivers side floor below the pedals. All the seams and other parts of the shell are original and do not need repair. The Kummo tires are in very good condition. All the seats have been covered in light grey vinyl. It needs a new windshield as the one in the car is probably original, with a couple stone chips, a crack and wiper scratches. The wooden panel around the factory instrument cluster is ugly, but it does hold the working auxiliary instruments. The electrical wiring is messy, but everything works. I do not have any way of knowing the actual mileage, but am nearly certain the odometer is not correct in this 51 year old car.
