Hey guys I ran this car as a Daily Driver for about 6 months until I purchased a Mitsubishi Evo VIII in August of 2010. The Sebring has been sitting under a car cover for 2 years now. I bought it from a friend in college so it spent over 4 years in Florida there which is the best place for the body/underbody of any car (No Rust!). The last time I drove it I had some engine noise under the hood that sounded like I may have thrown a rod... In other words, the bottom half of the engine (the block) will either need to be rebuilt or you can just swap another lower miles 2.5L V6 Chrysler engine in there. Believe it or not they only go for around $450 so its not that bad. I don't have anywhere to put the car so I can't rebuild it for myself.... my loss is your gain. So... the car DOES NOT run, however the engine is ALL intact. Would be a great car for a girl who just turned 16 or for anyone (guy or girl) who just wants a chill beach cruiser that gets 22/26mpg. I have the signed title to the car in hand! Here are some facts about the car/things I have replaced, restored, or upgraded to: -Fresh Biege/Tan convertible Roof replaced locally in VA Beach 2 months before the car went under the cover where it sits today... over $1000 job. -Replaced Driver-side wheel bearing... <2000mi on this. -Resurfaced rotors, and 4 month old ceramic brake pads put on -16" dual spoke 6 spoke silver rims off of the JXi model -CD player/headunit (Alpine or Premier I believe) & stock speakers work fine -Black Paint is in Great Shape and not faded except for a little on the trunk. Florida vehicles rule! The bad: -The engine is blown (threw a rod) so either will need a rebuild or another 2.5L Chrysler Sebring Motor swapped in (they run around $450 from local engine/machine shops, mom & pop shops, pick and pull junkyard) -Carpet is in pretty bad shape. Needs to be either steam cleaned or replaced definitely. -Needs 2 new tires (they keep going flat). Used tire places have great deals on tires I've gotten them for around $25-40 a tire all day. *I am a United States Naval Officer on Norfolk Naval Base so I will be willing to do whatever I can to get a sale worked out to help both of us.
