1969 Pontiac Catalina 400 v8 runs and drives excellent. . Rear air shocks. Tires new. 20,000 miles +/- on balanced and blue printed high performance engine. Actual mileage reads 63,000+ miles (they didn't have placement for counting mileage over 99,999.99 miles then :). Kool car. Has lots of punch low and high end. Front end has been recently rebuilt, including alignment and new tires. I have owned the car for about 16 years. All lights work, windshield wiper motor, etc. Has ash trays in the rear seating area and the front dash. Dash area has a map light, and when you slide out the ashtray from the dash has a light and a lighter. As the car came equipped with "idiot" gauges, a water temperature gauge and oil gauge were added when the new engine went in. Idiot gauges still there and workable. Has seat belts, three sets in front seating area, three sets in rear seating area. The front seat right and left side also have chest area seat belts besides the lap seat belts. Has been a fun car to own, but I now need a truck. May consider part trade ? Since I live in an area where air conditioning is not a big necessity, the Air conditioning motor was not put back in when the new engine was put in, but all vents, etc. are there as it originally came with air conditioning. The windshield is cracked but all the rest of the glass is fine. There is some body putty on the driver side panel between the door and trunk, above the wheel well area.
