Vehicle Detail

Up for Auction is a 1972 Super Beetle, I restored the vehicle myself. The motor is a crate motor shipped from Scatt racing it is a 1915cc with match ported exhaust, 1inch 5/8 merged headers, 35-5-42 big valve heads, solid rockers with swivel feet adjusters, and racing C-95 cam and 69 crank, 94mm jugs and dual Empi IDF 40 carberators, ligthened flywheel, with a killer bee cooling fan, and converted electrical system to a high output Alternator. Its also has a the original strong superbeetle transaxle with solid main shaft. All of the parts on the motor are new and not remanufactured parts including the case, crank, heads, and cams. The fenders have been custom made from fiber glass to be 1.5 inches wider in the front and 3 inches wider with Cooper Cobra tires and Craiger Rims. The Gauges have been replaced with all new VDO classic gauges. The roof is a custom Rag top from a manufacter in Arizona. The interior has been replaced with Scatt Rally pro seats in the front and the back material has been replaced to match. The color of the paint is Candy Blue which was done with House Of Color paint and five coats of clear coat. The new odometer reads 491 which was instaled at the time of the rebuild, but the original only read 66,500 when it was removed. There is a custom Apline stereo with matching speakers that was installed, along with factory pop-out rear windows. I have invested over $15,000 in this car, and the rebuild was not of cheap parts or quality. The buyer will take car of the shipping arrangements upon succesful completion of the bidding. Thanks and good luck. Feel free to ask any questions about the car, since I am the one who rebuilt the car.
