Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1985 Suzuki GS 1150 E. This bike was used as a daily commuter for the last 15 years. It has just over 31k miles on it. It still runs and rides excellent. The transmission shifts smoothly and the engine does not smoke or burn oil. This bike offers a ton of power and is actually very comfortable to ride, even long distance which seems to be a thing of the past on modern sport bikes. This bike is in good shape, but it does have a few issues since it is 27 years old. It has a couple of small dents on the gas tank, the headlight indicator will occasionally light up then not do it again for 300 miles. Even though nothing seems to be wrong, so there must be a short somewhere in that instrument cluster. The little panel above the rear taillight is missing from where a rear luggage strap popped it off. I have seen those on eBay for about ten bucks though. There are various small scratches from normal road wear, but to my knowledge the bike has never been down, and the scratches it does have, reflect more so garage incidents, then a crash or something. All my pictures are the maximum pixel size eBay will allow so everything is right where you can see it, no surprises. This bike also has the fuel valve replaced with a Pingel fuel valve the stock fuel valves were prone to have vacuum problems, the bike also has a Kerker 4 into 1 full exhaust on it, and it has the K&N Stage III Jetting and individual air filters. I really hate to part with this bike since the big headlight area bikes are just now coming in to the collector category, but an unexpected bill forces me to do so. If you’re looking for a very reliable comfortable bike that still flat out gets it, you’re in the right place. I hold a clear title in hand. Feel free to ask questions. No Deadbeat Hyenas. International buyers are always welcome. Please NOTE all of the items I sell on eBay are considered to be antiques. They are not new, and are sold as is, and carry NO warranty. Please read the item description, I work really hard to tell it like it is, so we are both happy with our eBay experience. Every attempt has been made to describe them accurately and thoroughly without boring my audience. I am NOT considered to be an expert on this item, so please feel free to ask questions before you bid. I will do my best to answer all questions. eBay’s shipping calculator is for reference only, it is not the gospel. If you see a shipping price that looks unreasonable please feel free to contact me. I charge actual shipping and crating cost, what it cost me is what you pay. I have experience with shipping larger heavy items with good success, but it takes time to prepare them so please be patient. I am always willing to build a wooden shipping crate/container to help your item avoid damages, but please note this option takes extra time and is NOT free of charge. Overseas buyers are always welcome but are required to pay using PayPal or Wire Transfer
