Vehicle Detail

LOWER RESERVE JUST PUT ON THIS ITEM. Pretty good looking 1973 MGB with a very solid, no rust, body and rebuilt engine. The engine rebuild included turned and balanced crankshaft, new camshaft, pistons and rings, valves, tappets, lifters, seals, all bearings, oil pump, water pump, radiator, alternator and all seals and gaskets. The SU HIF4 carbs were rebuilt also. An electronic ignition was also installed as was a new clutch master cylinder, pressure plate, clutch plate and throwout bearing. A new stainless steel header and exhaust replaced the stock exhaust system for a great improvement in looks and sound. The front and back suspensions were rebuilt to include all seals and boots and a tube shock conversion kit was installed in the front end. The wheels have been blasted and painted and chrome trim rings put on. The tires are new as are the front brake calipers and brake master cylinder and the steel brake lines were replaced. The body is very solid and has absolutely no rust anywhere. The paint is seven months old. The under carriage has also been undercoated. The running lights have been replaced and the chrome bumpers were new last year as were the grille and side mouldings. There is a excellent tonneau and a tan Sunfast cloth convertible top. The seats and panels were redone by a talented local upholsterer including new seat bolsters and padding. There is a new four speaker stereo receiver/CD player with USB input. There are also new turn and wiper switches and a new ignition switch as well. This is a very sound and solid driver that likes the road and gives a smooth and firm ride. There are no bangs or bumps over even very rough roads and it is a pleasure to be in. The only drawback associated with this car is the fact that I had to have the speedometer regeared to accomodate the late model gearbox I put in (the later model speedometer is too big for the 1973 dashboard) and when I got it back I found it registered about eight percent slower than actual speed being driven. A five hundred dollar deposit needs to be made to hold the winning bid and transfer of auto and title happen when the purchase funds have been cleared by my bank. Thanks for looking and good luck.
