Here's a very nice project for the VW collector thinking about restoring a classic VW 1970. A lot of work has been done by a mechanic experienced in German engines. Clean, unreconstructed Oregon title. The vehicle has new orange and white acrylic paint, new floor pans, new windshield, very square body and frame, drives well but it needs valve work, slightly low compression in cylinder No 1, good electrical system, brakes, needs restoration of convertible top, interior kit and carpet as well as new wheels. the convertible top is primed and very square, convertible tops latch hooks works smoothly. We're looking for convertible top rear glass window, once we find it we will be updating the ad. All window glass and chrome window trim is intact, window seals and gaskets will be needed as well. This car can easily be turned into a very fun driving experience, solid project. you would be investing from $2000 to $3000 to make it into a classic.
