This is a 1998 BMW 740I. Automatic with optional sport shift transmission, anti slip feature for icy or wet roads, fully loaded, alloy rims tires are in good condition, new plugs, this car runs like a scalded dog. This car currently belongs to my 21 year old son who is a college student and can not afford to keep gas in it. It is a lot of car, V8 and it will skin it back. The leather does not have one tear in it in fact the back seat looks like it has never even been sat in. The carpet is all in great condition. The car has too many features to list. Seats have 3 presets for three different drivers, just set the wheel seat mirrors and headrest where you want it, press the button for memory and the next time you get in the car press the same button and everything goes back to the way you had it:) Genuine bmw tool kit in the trunk, genuine bmw rechargeable flashlight in the glove box. Ill try to hit everything. It has power tilt wheel and power telescoping, cruise, steering wheel radio controls, all power seats passenger and driver,power head rest, power mirrors driver and passenger.Intermittent wipers that stop when the car stops so the blades do not get worn out. computer tells you how many miles to the gallon, how many miles before empty, how many mile before the oil viscosity is depleted. Power rear window sunshade, with the push of a button the sunshade comes out and completely covers the back window, as well as sunshades on the rear driver side and passenger side windows. I struck a deer this time last year and had to replace the front R fender with genuine bmw parts. I will take some pics of the R front fender tomorrow and add them to the auction. Since then the car was struck on the same fender before being repainted. It has about a 1.5" dent on the replaced fender which needs to be painted to match the car. The windshield has a crack along the top of the glass from a rock on the interstate. It is not illegal since it is not in the view of the driver. Not sure if you can see it in the picture. The security system remote is built into the key, you can roll the windows down while walking towards the car to allow for heat to escape before you enter it. Has ICE cold air. The car also has a feature that can be set to come on at a specified time, the feature will slightly open all 4 windows and sunroof and an automatic fan will turn on to force trapped heat out before you enter the vehicle. The fan can be set to run from 1 minute to 18 minutes. Say you set it at 4pm when you will be getting off work, when you get to the car at 4:05 the heat will have been removed and the windows and sunroof re-closed. The car has to go for 2 reasons, it is a V8 and he cant afford gas, and im afraid that he will hurt himself in it. He has a new honda accord now and he is wanting to install audio equipment in it, so if you want to make an offer aside from the auction, the car is for sale locally as well. I reserve the right to stop the auction at anytime if need be. All manuals and service manuals are with the car. The last two photos are previous damage from striking the deer.
